The location was perfect, the views stunning, the staff wonderful, the food (all vegetarian) pretty good and the price great. We stayed 3-days in the most expensive room & ate most of our meals and drank most of our beer there. We are a couple that travelled independently for three weeks, primarily in Rajasthan. We stayed in Udaipur for three days and thoroughly enjoyed ourseves. Most positive things said in reviews here are true. Helpful and polite staff, who responded to requests and dispensed useful advice promptly. I believe they even help me bargain for a good deal on a painting. The view was nice and the room was neatly decorated. Food could need improvement though, particularly for meat lovers like me. more
