This was our second time staying here in five years. We booked a more deluxe room this time even though the standard room was ok before. Back then the standard rooms were basic and clean 5 years ago but seemed a bit older and in need of TLC. Totally good for those in a budget and staying for a week... More

We were looking for a quiet and comfortable weekend away from the mad rush of work. The place is a beauty for anyone looking for quiet walk into the royal past at a reasonable cost. You get to stay in authentic royal guest rooms as the complete Haveli (royal term for house) was a guest house for the Maharaja and... More

On our arrival, we have been given the room "Sukh Niwas", not to forget the manager of the hotel given us a extra bed for our 6 years old son free of cost. The room was big and clean, bathroom all though not maintained well. It's peaceful atmosphere. Excellent location within walking distance to City Place, Jagadish Mandir, Bagore Ki... More

Arriving close to midnight after a horrendously late train journey from Jaipur we were greeted with a lovely double room, elegantly designed with a wide veranda with a large comfortable swing and no one else in the room next to ours so we had the area all to ourselves. Excellent location within walking distance to the city palace, the temples... More

The stuff is very helpful, they will help you with tickets and advises. Our standart room was clean. There is a swimming pool, but not warm, because it was March, when we were travelling. And the garden is nice. The food from hotel´s kitchen was good, too. I could stay there another time.

We booked a standard room. It seemed to be very old residential palace turned hotel. The staff and royal family who run this hotel are vice nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and spacious. There is a nice little garden and a swimming pool. They serve awesome food for breakfast.Try out the potato cutlets once. They are really... More

This is a lovely heritage hotel where you can stay and relax and be comfortable and be close to anything you want to do, but are still a bit away from the most intensely crowded part of tourist Udaipur. The staff and the royal family who still run it are so kind and welcoming and they help you with anything... More

I loved everything about this hotel, from the young nightwatchman who sleepily let us in at 3 am with courtesy and a smile on his face, to the elderly German frau in residence who sits outside her room with her knitting and gossips with the staff and residents. The young nightwatchman replied to my profuse thanks and apologies for waking... More
