We really liked the look and feel of the lobby, room. I did not eat in the restaurants due to lack of time but they looked attractive. The staff were so courteous. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. The value to price ratio is perfect. This is really Heritage Haveli property. Clean comfy rooms. Place to put all away.... More

What a lovely place! The family who run it are very friendly and really care. The hotel is clean and full of character. They upgraded us for free without us asking and so we had a private balcony from which to sit cool drinks and watch the sunset over the lake. They also have a very gentle elderly Alsatian Bambi... This was such a charming hotel. We think we were the only ones staying there and the staff (all the same family) were very relaxed and friendly. We got to choose the room we liked the most with a view over Lake Pichola even though they were just finishing off some painting. Breakfast was on the roof terrace affording a... More

The ideally located near the major land Mark Jagadish Temple , City Palace , Bangor the haveli ( vanue of daily folk dance in evening ) is the added bonus . We were fortunate enough to stay in a room with a lake view. The view and stained glass windows were stunning, but the hotel certainly had it's fair share of quirks... Pros: View - lake view rooms look over Lake Pichola, the water palace, and lake hotel Location - right in the center and in walking distance of shopping, restaurants,... More

If you are looking to unwind in Udaipur then this place was lovely. We were stopping over while waiting for a flight and were quite happy to lounge in our beautiful room, surrounded by comfy cushions and a lovely view and read. There was AC and fan to help keep us cool in the summer heat. Apart from that nothing... More

stayed here in January 2015. Well and truly over priced for it offers. No lifts and no safely barriers. Food choice is VERY limited and again over priced. Staff speak no English and the hotel does not accept Credit Cards. The owners are nosy and pry into your privacy. The hotel does not have a bar and no room service... More

We traveled there as a couple and first off must say that our stay was very enjoyable. They sent a cab 6 hours away to pick us up and deliver us to their hotel. The cost of travel by cab, everywhere in India, was/is cheap by American standards. The young man greeting us is the son of the owner. He... More

We looked around Udaipur and thought that this was the best value for money room. A well designed large room overlooking right on Lal Ghat and overlooking lake pichola. You could literally throw a fishing line into the lake from the an open large bay window. The air-conditioner worked well. Although when there were power failures there is no back... More

A great place to stay in Udaipur. We had a lovely room with a view over the lake. It was fantastic to sit and watch the sunset over the lake. The rooftop restaurant has the same great views, and very good breakfasts. The staff were all very friendly.
