The overall impression about my stay has been quite good. The room decor, service and ambiance aare very good. Though your food is good, it is suggested to include more varieties along with Rajasthan specialties in your menu.

Staying at the Fateh Prakash was the perfect way to experience Udaipur. The lake views from the rooms were stunning, and it was such a lovely, calming ambience to come back to and relax after exploring the city. The entrance and lobby area don't seem like much, but then you wander back towards the rooms through endless marble courtyards and... More

In a world full of modern, recently build 5 star hotels, this hotel with the elegance and style from the past is an oasis of peace and beauty. Stylish and beautiful it offers a time travel back in time and you feel like a movie star. I was overwhelmed and amazed that such magical places still exist. Beautiful.

Amazing view from the hotel room if it is on lake side. Finest view from the hotel in Udaipur. Rooms are classy and traditional but too small to stay in due to its HERITAGE status. Service is hopeless. Concierge is outsourced which takes almost 45 minutes for car to come at hotel after making call. Dining and Lunch is hopeless.... More

Although slightly shabby around the edges I still rate this hotel 5 stars and we had a great experience. It is a heritage property in the City Palace complex and shares a pool with the upper market Shiv Nivas but you are better off here as the rooms all overlook the Lake Palace hotel. It is hard to imagine a... More

My travel companion and I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful heritage hotel. Our rooms, called the Dovecot, were spacious and elegantly furnished, each with wonderful views out over Lake Pichola. Staff were very attentive, and made us feel welcome whenever we came back to the hotel. The terrace restaurant is a perfect place to sit and appreciate the sunsets... More

If you like staying in old palaces this is a good heritage hotel to stay. The view of the lake from the rooms is breath taking and overall gives you very luxurious feel. One should take a boat ride and check out the vintage car collection of the current royal family.

This fort has been converted in to a hotel so in that sense it does not give you the feel of a typical hotel but the place is simply luxurious. Rooms are opulent with stunning view of Lake Pichola, Lack Palace, Jal Mahal and hill range behind. It must have been a huge task to maintain the rooms the way... More

Traveling through India can be tiring and staying at the Fateh Prakash Palace is the only remedy. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with amazing views of the lake from your windows. Absolutely stunning setting... This place is magnificent! Set within the city palace complex, this is the place you want to be! We spent beautiful 4 days surrounded by royal opulence, stunning views over the lake, as well as excellent service. The sister property Shiv Niwas also offers some wonderful dining options... All in all, an amazing visit!
