“What a treat”

After weeks of travelling my wife and I arrived in Udaipur. We decided to treat ourselves and chose this hotel. We got one of the rooms that overlooked the lake and had a private outdoor terrace and balcony. What a dream. Great views. Great location, staff and service. Like experiencing another era.

“Nice to look at but...”

The grounds were lovely and the rooms were big though a little tired. Beds weren't very comfortable and we had a bad experience with the linens. We thought this place, being a palace and higher-end hotel, would have the integrity to mail our postcards but they never arrived.

Received warm welcome, the hotel was well maintained, the staff was freindly. The location was fantastic, walking distance to all the sight seeing.Fantastic view from the balcony.The breakfast was wonderful.

I had a lovely room with private balconey and a huge outdoor patio, large enough to have a cocktail party! The view was east over the village at the foot of the hill and the mountains so the sunrise was lovely.
