I stayed at Jagat Niwas with my parents for 3 days and the best compliment I received from my parents was "Son, it's a great choice exercised by you to make us stay at Jagat Niwas". Being very discerning travellers, we were in awe of the cleanliness, hospitality and the sheer regal aura that this haveli turned hotel has to... More

We didn't actually stay at the Jagat Niwas, we stayed at the Fateh Prakash Palace (very close by) but we wish we had ! We ate there 3 times and the food was great and good value for money. Views are spectacular, great rooftop terrace. We did look at three of the rooms and they all looked fantastic - next... More

We stayed for 2 nights in the incredible Pichola Suite at the Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel - it is the most expensive room at the hotel, but it is definitely worth it! The suite, which has 2 double beds, a lounge area, a dressing room and a bathroom, is absolutely stunning - beautifully decorated with a gorgeous bay windows opening... More

It is an experience to get to Hotel through with very narrow road... We arrived at hotel and given us room which was like servant quarters and had no windows, water. We had finally had to upgrade our room and got the best one, It was on the top floor and only one room. Rooftop restaurant was opposite to it.... More

We stayed in a "Pichola Suite" (the most expensive room category) at Jagat Niwas Palace for 3 nights, and it was a great experience. Our room (I think it was 113 - on one of the upper floors), was very spacious, nicely decorated with a good bathroom, lovely large 4 poster bed, and a cushioned bay window where we could... More

I stayed at Jagat Niwas Palace in a standard A/C room for 5 days. as expected, my stay was good, given the fact that Jagat Niwas Palace is an old, well-known guesthouse in Udaipur. The standard rooms are in an adjacent building, much less beautiful than the main one, but still clean and fairly well appointed. Except a couple of... More

Stayed here in 2010 when my friends got married here. An amazing experience - both the wedding and the hospitality of the hotel staff. Beautiful views of the river. Comfortable and good sized rooms. Lovely food. Superb value for money.

A very nice hotel in a great location, extremely close to a couple of Udaipur's main attractions. The hotel itself looks great and has some great views over the lake. The restaurant appeared to be very busy and the large majority of tables had already been reserved, however the reservation system seemed a bit bizarre. As far as I could... More

For the money per night, this is a surprisingly luxurious option. Tucked away from the traffic of Udaipur, the cool white interiors and spectacular lake views make this hotel hard to leave. Staff are lovely too... Food a little more expensive than other places but this is understandable given location.
