Beautiful location directly at the lake with view to lake palace hotel and ideal for shopping in the middle of the old town.. Typicall, very nice seaside rooms with romantic verandas. Breakfast in verandas with lake view. Very good meals and friendly service. more

This place was exactly what i expected which was fantastic. It's in the old city area which has particular rules set out between the shop keepers; no excessive hassling, keep the streets clean, no begging and so on. Based on other reviews on tripadviser.com, we booked a deluxe, lake facing room. The room we got was small (ie doesn't look like the spacious rooms on the hotel's website!). The bathroom was clean. First of all, do not get off from the narrow roads and narrower approach to hotel. This place is far better than the road that leads to it. We reached early morning from Delhi by Mewar Express.
