Beautiful white washed courtyards full of brightly coloured flowers with fantastic roof terrace overlooking the lake. Perfecto to while away an afternoon with a cold beer in hand after exploring the busy streets, temples & spice market of udaipur.

We stayed here a week ago & had a suite overlooking Lake Pichola. The suite was huge - two enormous single beds - v comfortable. The shower room was also v big and there was an enormous bay window with seating platform & scatter cushions overlooking the lake & the Lake Palace. I can't fault the room with it's stunning... Very good hotel, room excellent, staff very good and location perfect. We ate Dinner at restaurant both nights, food was very good. Breakfast was set menu but for extra you could get a very good espresso. Wifi was good in our room. The only negative thing for us was having put a generous tip in box as sign requested at... More

This hotel has an open sky restaurant, and below this, another floor with chairs/tables, as well as cushioned booths, just like the rajas used. At night, with candles flickering, and a view if the whole lake, its magic. I opted to stay in a non-lake view room (cheaper) but spent many enjoyable hours perched in a booth, reading, sipping chai,... More

We stayed here for the first three nights of our three week holiday to India and it was a perfect introduction. We had a lake view room and the view across the lake in the evening when we first arrived was breath-taking. The room had all the facilities you would need and the restaurant had amazing views and the food... More

We enjoyed everything about this hotel except that, having a lovely room with lake view and a window seat, in the hot afternoon it was difficult to find somewhere shady to sit. We ate in the roof top restaurant and the next evening in the lower level restaurant and views were different but stunning from each. The third evening we... More

I cannot imagine a more romantic place to stay. The street entrance is guarded by painted Rajastani warriors and flowers, bordering a delicately articulated architecture of balconies, steps and potted plants. An exquisite fragrance of lemon grass wafts around the hotel, whose central courtyard opens to the sky. The restaurant is approached past cushioned alcoves from where you can see... More

Our rooms on the lake (we didn't understand why we were moved three times in two days but all the rooms had lake views and the last two were bigger than the first. I suspect we were meant to be enticed to stay longer but we had other plans, we wonderful. Nothing beats a view on the lake in Udaipur... More

Tastefully refurbished heritage hotel, around a stunning central courtyard. Excellent rooftop restaurant with a panoramic view of the lake and city palace, very good breakfast. Our room, which was quite affordable for such a beautiful hotel, was below the courtyard level right over the water of the lake in a beautiful position. It was modestly appointed, had a small bathroom... More

This was the best hotel I have ever visited in my life. I wouldn´t dare to say a word against it. And the Price we paid for it, was a superb bargain. The location couldnt have gotten any better. We had dinner at the rooftop retaurant everynight and never felt bored. Every evening felt like a romantic date
