We stayed at Little Garden over Christmas and it was magical. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, the way they are decorated is gorgeous and there are lovely little touches like pieces of art work and pretty cushions. There was also a heater in the room which was really appreciated as it was winter when we stayed and it was the... More

We stayed at Little Garden back in November, and it was a nice haven of peace and solitude within the craziness of India. The rooms are immaculate and artistically decorated with pieces from all over India/World. It's a wonderful family run place, and Akshay, their son takes care of seeing to all of the guest's needs. He was there to... More

This place will bring back fond memories long after you've left. Akshay is the best host I've ever stayed with. He guides you meticulously to the city's hidden gems. Just blabber your interests, and he'll point you in the right direction, with map sketches, people you can meet there for further help, et al. Tour guiding in his past life... More

This is a delightful guest house with a genuinely caring owner. It is family run and the rooms are artistically designed. The location is good, near to the town centre in Udaipur and the lake. It offers excellent value for money too.

This little guest house is full of charm! It's very tastefully decorated and the owner takes immense pride in his business. The family live on the property and are very friendly. Akshay the owner is full of stories and has great local knowledge of Udaipur, he is a fantastic host. There is good wifi, hot water for showers with nice... More

The place is located in the heart of the city. The city palace is a 10 mins walk. Old clock tower a 15 mins walk, Gangaur Ghat, 20 mins walk. Its location is such that one doesn't need a vehicle of their own to move around from this place. The rooms are basic, but furnished with highest quality of products.... More

With 4 of the 6 rooms available for rent (the other 2 will be ready within a month or two), this little haveli is a gem. Akshay has done a wonderful job decorating each room individually incorporating antique parts from buildings set to be demolished. Akshay makes you feel like an old lost relative visiting, rather than a paying guest.... More

What a lovely family, what a lovely place! So many places to choose from in Udaipur, and with this being our last destination, I wanted to made it our most memorable homestay. My 3 friends unanimously agree! The location is fantastic ... close to everything. This is an old haveli, which is lovingly being remodeled by Akshay. He is using... More

The splendour of Udaipur does not lie only in its magnificent old palaces or its picturesque location; its proud and welcoming people, like the jovial Akshay and his lovely family, have contributed greatly to making our stay near perfect. Little Garden Guest House – still a work in progress in August 2014 – felt immediately like home. The tasteful decoration... More

We stayed 6 nights in this homestay and had a great time in Udaipur. Is centrally located between both entrances of the palace. The homestay is right next to the Laxmi temple, which is the main temple for Diwali, so it is a great option if you happen to be there around the time of the festival. The family, including... More
