Many travellers look for a special place to stay during their vacation, not just another hotel. We wanted a clean home stay or guest house, with personal service and nice rooms. In Little Garden Guest House we found all this and so much more. Our room had nice artistic details, a large and very modern bath room, air condition and... More

This was by far the most beautiful guesthouse in our Indian trip! Each room is beautiful decorated with local art, handicraft things! Akshay and his family are such lovely people! They make you feel home right away! Akshay helped us with so many things: finding beautiful handcraft (local prices) , organising our further trips and laundry service, teaching us how... More

I visited this homestay with my family for 3 nights. The rooms are very comfortable, and are tastefully designed, with jharokhas and colored glasses in the windows. Akshay and his family (sister, mother and father) were extremely friendly, and helpful with everything. They clearly work very hard to keep the place spic and span. There were only a few appliances... More

Me and my wife traveled to udaipur in mid of March, 2015. Located in the middle of the inner market in old Udaipur. This place is a haveli converted into a B&B. The property is well maintained and decorated with wonderful art pieces from history. The rooms are well decorated with local essence (having those jharokas, colours and bed styles... More

The thing we enjoy most about staying at Guest Houses and Homestays is that you get a chance to interact with a local family and see life through their eyes. Akshay and his family (sister, father and mother) made us feel part of their family, engaging us, providing helpful information and serving us homemade treats. Akshay gave us good advice... More

Testament to the atmosphere and charm of The Little Garden Guest House is the fact that I returned with my family. The haveli is perfectly and centrally positioned under the walls of the Royal Palace. Of a night time you can relax up on the Little Garden Guest House roof top sipping on a local wine while taking in the... More

We stayed 2 nights in this delightful guest house. The location is great, up a lane very close to the city palace. Our room was quiet, simply and attractively furnished and very comfortable, and the small bathroom was well equipped. The roof terrace is a big attraction, with views of the city palace, kites being flown and kites circling. Breakfast... More

We stayed 4 nights in this calm, clean and comfortable guest house. Our room was surprisingly quiet with every feature carefully chosen. Breakfast was exceptional, fresh fruit and Indian delicacies freshly prepared by Akshays mother and lovingly served by his sister. His father also makes the best masala chai we have had in India! Akshay attends to your individual requirements... More

Friendly and helpful host, rooms with Rajasthani decor from different periods, delicious light home-made breakfast, walking distance to the City Palace, Baghore ki Haveli and other attractions ... just an amazing experience over-all!

Staying at Akshay's guest house was a delightful experience, made up of a lovely room, very good breakfasts and a charming and helpful host. Akshay has carefully converted his family home creating spacious rooms with period furnishings and lots of little antique additions. The essentials - bathroom, power sockets and wifi - work well. The roof terrace is a good... More
