Great property and this place not in news post the hollywood film but people knew this place for their horses . Know for their tallest and smartest marwari and kathwari horses. places in the centre of the village and quiet away from Udaipur city. This place opens the door to see village life and be part of it. Great home... More

Hotel has no menus, no time schedule for anything. Just need to inform when, where and what you like to be served for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Hotel is located out of city noise, but dont think you get bored. Its surrounded by big walls and gates which makes you feel like a Maharaja himself. Like you own the place. During the day... More

Ravla Khempur aka The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is an absolute must visit! The hotel is charming, the village is unspoilt and the atmosphere is intoxicating. All the staff were amazing and Nitin, the Manager, is a fabulous host. Candlelit dinner on the rooftop terrace, breakfast and lunch served in the courtyard, dancing at night, foot tours through the village....we... More

This charming rural palace is about an hour outside of Udaipur but its worth the drive. The room is comfortable and clean. This is a different India from the busy cities. A walk thru the village with the hotel manager, Nitin, is an enriching experience. The women with their colorful saris, the turbaned men and the happy children make you... More

After doing the cities of Rajasthan we were longing for a bit of rural peace and Ravla Khempur did not disappoint. It's a beautiful place to hang out - the courtyard is magical but what makes it so special are the staff. You feel really at home there and the food is great. But what is unique about it is... More

Once you get tired seeing all the forts and palaces bettr to choose some off the beaten track. This is ideal place to see the rural part of India. You can see culture, people, traditions, respect life in powerty very closely. Worth to come and stay here for couple of nights. It is not for luxury but you get the... More

Great hospitality in this charming hotel. We visited because of the film but found it to a delightful stay in its own right. One night was definitely not enough. Just sit in the open courtyard and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The room was spacious and clean with a large ensuite and dinner was served outside in true style. A fantastic... More

When I found out that we would have an opportunity to stay at Ravla Khempur I jumped at it, as I had liked the Marigold movie very much. The hotel is about an hour's drive away from Udaipur and only recently re-opened after renovations following the filming of the Marigold sequel. There is still a lot of work to be... More

I loved my stay at Ravla Khempur and did not want to leave! The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. They were all so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Nitin the manager was amazing and introduced us to the village and was accommodating on every level possible. From amazing food to helping cook in... More

Our favourite experience in India. As mentioned the manager Nitin is a legend. We got the village tour, a once in a lifetime experience, visiting the local school, peoples houses and even playing cricket with the local kids. Nitin is very passionate about the village and has its best interests at heart. The hotel itself is a classic, it is... More
