The perfect place to stay in Udaipur! I've been traveling for two months in India, and this was the best stay I've had. It's not just because Udaipur is a beautiful place with amazing things to see and do, it's because the host and host-family are so amazing! Viru is the ultimate host/guide, and a true gentleman. He is kind... More

Simple, basic, friendly, and all I needed. My room was clean, no AC, but fans worked alright. Staff was very friendly, treated me like family, and breakfast included. Great location, within walking distance of attractions.

We didn't know what to expect when we arrived to Udaipur, since this was the cheapest hotel we had booked. This was definitely a happy surprise. The standard of the rooms was not high, it was typical backpacking room with a fan, but the man "running" the hotel was amazing. He explained a lot, gave us tips about a show... More

My friend and I stayed here in April. We had a pleasant stay in the private twin room. The room was clean with a nice little bathroom. The noise from the street had us up early but that wasn't really a problem, there's plenty to get on with in the day! Breakfast is pretty lame, but you can opt not... More

The family that runs this place is really nice, friendly and takes care of all your request, they even go to the supermarket to buy the stuff you ask them for (and they do not charge you extra for it). They make you feel at home. Jitu (my apologies, I do not know how to spell it) speaks english and... More

This family owned guest house has a great location. The rooms are pretty basic, yet the price-quality you get is good. The most important thing is that the rooms are clean and that we were lucky enough to have Vicky as our host. Vicky is an amazing guy who sincerely wants to help you with everything that you need. I tried so hard to love this place, I really did. The rooms were fairly clean and the family that ran the business was were lovely but it was a letdown after reading all the great reviews. The place had a nice atmosphere but the rooms were ridiculously noisy as it's situated on a busy street. No sheets, towels or... More

One of the best places we stayed at. We moved into the guesthouse after attending a wedding at a large 5 star hotel in the city but enjoyed the atmosphere here a lot more. The people were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and there was hot water (Which even the 5 star hotel didn't have) and I wish we... More

The location was good, we had the cheapest room which was fine, big bed, good fan and separate bathroom. Wifi connection was good. Free breakfast was nice, jam on toast was good and a decent coffee. The staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. Downside was the toilet didn't look like it had been cleaned but rest of... More

Location is fine. It is besides the lake so the center is walking distance. You can find plenty of restaurants in the evening. Rooms are basic but clean and confortable. Bathroom is clean as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in the rate. Pretty good deal if you're travelling in India on a budget. Only thing missing... More
