This village-like hotel is five minutes from the entry to one of India’s many tiger preserves. Our “cottage” rooms were really nice with a small desk with chair. The bathroom was almost the size of the bedroom, with a very roomy, open shower with a rain shower head, but be careful what time you shower - the available hot water... More

We spent 3 nights at Khem Villas, Ranthambhore near the Tiger sanctuary and were most impressed with the excitingly comfortable tented facilities, courteous and helpful owners (Dr. Goverdhan & Usha Singh Rathore) and Staff and delicious food, albeit solely vegetarian. Try the lovely relaxing Spa treatment and everything at the resort. I did injure myself on the Tiger safari, but... More

Beautiful grounds, nature walk, tent bedroom-baths are rustic but perfect for the setting. Campfires before vegetarian dinners (great breakfasts, other meals ok), with appetizers like Samosas served. Very cold mornings in January bring layers to wear, small space heater, hot water available to shower 4 hrs in morning and in evening, small space heater. Super staff, common space by reception... We arrived at Khem Villas just in time for lunch and in time for our first game drive. There are 3 room options and we had chosen the most expensive cottage option and we're shown to cottage 1 complete with outside courtyard and the biggest stone bath you can imagine. All meals are included and it is normally a continental... More

Khem Villas is one of the best places in India iv stayed at. It's like a home away from home . We stayed in the luxury cottage which was cozy, beautiful with an earthy feel . The food was fresh and organic as the ingredients are sourced from the hotel farm itself . I wanted to learn so many of... More

Travelled with a small group of people in Oct 2015. Booked directly with the hotel, Usha and Manvender were prompt and helpful with re to my queries. We were graciously greeted on a warm afternoon with cold towels and a welcome drink, and this level of graciousness and professionalism was felt throughout our 3 day stay. Some of us stayed... More

We stayed two nights at Khem Villas while doing three game drives in the Ranthambore Park. The whole experience was perfect. From the moment we arrived when we were greeted with warm towels and a glass of lemonade we felt pampered. Our cottage was so comfortable and cosy with an electric heater to warm the bedroom at night and hot... More

The property is very beautiful , very peaceful , the ponds, the lounge chairs, the tall grass ,the lovely birds and the view of the rich Ranthambore forest. Food was absolutely... More

Very nice individual villas, with an inside and outside bathroom and private terrace. The food – vegetarian only – is stunning. As a carnivore, if I could eat like this every day I would happily convert to vegetarianism. In the evenings a campfire is lit to sit around. A safari vehicle picked us up morning and afternoons, and we had... More

You can't go wrong choosing Khem Villas. The tents and villas are nicely done in minimalist luxury. The grounds are beautifully planted and maintained, inviting a great deal of wildlife to watch. The staff is helpful and gracious in every manor. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Ranthambhore.
