I am a Bagh fan, big time! Four times I have visited Ranthambhore, and each time I've chosen this warm and homely place. Extremely helpful staff (you remember their names when you check in next time even after a year), simple but well appointed rooms and tents, awesome lip smacking food, thrilling jungle tales from wildlifers around the campfire, and... A best place to reside where it never feels that you are in a hot and dry place. We had a group of 21 people who headed for a wildlife camp at Ranathambhore Tiger Reserve. As we entered the hotel, the canopy of trees was a visual relief and relaxed moment for us as it was very soothe in the... More

After 15 nights at The Bagh, I can not speak highly enough about the place. Owner, Dicky and Poonam run a great hotel catering for naturalists. Dicky went above and beyond to help me out, and I am most grateful to him for this. The beds were fantastic and the breakfasts were mammoth. Dinner buffet was excellent, with non stop... More

I stayed at The Ranthambore Bagh for 4 nights, and I must add that staying at this place has been a treat and the best way to tryst with a tiger. The owner of this place Aditya also known as Dicky, has been a baby of this junlgle and seen the evolution of the tigers here, been a part of... More

I stayed at the Ranthambhore bagh for 6 nights. I was there to photograph tigers in their habitat. The staff was very forthcoming and knowledgeable. The food was simply amazing (not oily) and Ramsingh even made some dishes extra spicy just for me to accomodate my craving for spicy food. It was a bit noisy with all the weddings going... More

I went last weekend with my wife and daughter to ranthambore and stayed at 'the ranthambore bagh'. This was my second visit to the resort, first time was with friends. The property is close to the railway station and we had asked for early morning pickup. Reached the resort and were scheduled to visit the fort but luckily they had... More

The accommodations are really nice. Simple and Clean. I agree with some of the other comments that the tent gets really hot during the afternoon, even with the Cooler running. Service is very good. The staff is attentive. Food was the only part of the stay that i did not like very much. There was very little variety, some times... More

TRB is a comfortable place to stay with good services. My review on the property Accommodation: We stayed in tents which are good, spotless and has all amenities that one can ask for in the wilderness of Ranthambore. Though anyone going after mid March should opt for rooms for they have AC. All tents have attached washroom with running hot... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Ranthambhore Bagh opened in 1998 as a modest 12-room hotel for travelers looking out for an experience in the Ranthambhore National Park. The following year we added luxury tents, with all the facilities that a modern day traveler needs. We have now evolved to a resort which caters to all kind of specialist needs and have become the favorite hangout of filming crews, photographers, naturalists, birders and tourists who desire a richer wildlife experience. If you are the kind who wants to photograph the Indian courser or identify the different individual tigers of Ranthambore then you have reached the right place. ... more   less
