We stayed in one of the tents outside and paid over 100 euro's a night for this. Ok, there is a shower and toilet in your tent ... but it is so outdated and the toilet did not flush, so in real camping style, we were filling up a bucket to flush our toilet. The musquito net that was fitted... more

I was travelling with my partner, his parents and mine through India. Prior to arrival we booked the tent accomodation and 3 safari trips and was asked to pre pay. this was all done and confirmed promptly by the hotels Manager. Even though it was paid for 3 Jeep tours when we arrived it was told they had booked us... more

There are tons of places to stay outside of the Ranthambhore National Park, and this place may certainly benefit from high Google Search hits on the word 'Ranthambhore'. However, we enjoyed our stay here for one night. Think of the tents as posh camping - you are sleeping under canvas, but you have a comfortable bed, plenty of blankets, electricity,... more

We booked a room for three as a part of a larger group. Some others booked tents. The room was dark and had no ventilation, but was otherwise clean, and the beds were comfortable. Electricity was good, hot water plentiful. We didn't use the AC but it was there. All in all, it was a completely forgettable room, but we... more

I stayed at The Ranthambhore Bagh as a break in the middle of a three week business trip to India. After the chaos of Delhi and a very pleasant train journey I arrived (on time!) at the small town of Sawai Madophur, the closest town to Ranthambhore National Park. Reaching the hotel I was immediately offered food and drink, my... more

Stayed at Ranthambhore Bagh for one of our adventure trips. The property is actually a modest hotel for those seeking a wild life thrill at the national park. We stayed at the tents outside, which were self sufficient. The food was like home cooked. all the arrangements in terms of booking the entry to the National Park was taken care... more

I picked this hotel from the Trip Advisor reviews and although it was good, I do think some of the reviewers got a bit carried away. When we arrived we asked to switch rooms as one of the 2 rooms we had been allocated had no outside window. Whilst we were in the process of switching, my 8 year old... more

The staff at the hotel were very organised and efficient both during the booking several months before and throughout our stay. They were really friendly, especially the restaurant staff who were very concerned that my husband was ill when we arrived and kept tempting him with lime sodas and plain rice! The trips were very well organised, although unfortunately the... more

*tents were nothing special, infested with lizards and rodents, extremely hot, great for nature lovers, horrible for sick travelers *tents are right next to highway, so sleep is out of the question * food was good for the first meal, but how much curry can a man eat *service was good and had very helpful employees *water was charged at a... more

We spent 5 nights at the Ranthambhore Bagh, run by Aditya and Poonam Singh, while on safari at Ranthambhore tiger reserve. The lodge is perfect as a base - clean, friendly with good food and great staff - but not overly formal. Aditya is a real tiger enthusiast and excellent photographer. Film crews and wildlife photographers stay at the Bagh... more
