The service is great - the kind you'd expect at a Taj property, however the property looks like it has not been maintained well. The decor could be better - even in a deluxe room. The food options/quality need to be improved greatly. Other options (though not major brands) do exist at lower tariffs, therefore the above needs to be... More

Had been to Taj Ranthambore with my husband and stayed for a couple of days and have beautiful memories. The property is very good and very well maintained. The staff at Taj never disappoints and the manager Mr.Krishnan (if i correctly remember) was so hospitable. Food quality was excellent and enjoyed every bit of it. Infact on our special request... Mr. Krishnan the manager was most hospitable, the location is good, the property is great, our suite was huge and no complaints there. We cycled inside the property, the swimming pool is small but not too bad. We went in peak summer so was quite hot and the electricity went out 10 times a day but was quickly restored always.... We visited this property last week and I must say its a decent Property to spend time with your family. Although we were surprised to know that there is no Room Service in this hotel. I mean Taj property without a room service was not expected they should tell in advance while booking. But good thing was it made us... More

There are a plethora of Hotel options around Ranthambore National park, but what sets this apart is that it is a heritage property- a resting place for the kings converted into a hotel. The property retains all the aspects of a heritage forest lodge- with animal heads hung on walls, dimly lit verandas, stuffed animals, Rajasthani paintings etc. A recently... More

Spacious and huge rooms, green lawns, cycles to roam around this whole property. you can spend a laid back day here and you will feel great thats for sure. Food is bad, but thats the case of every property in SawaiMadhopur. Its a heritage property but it still doesnt give a TAJ feeling. Tell us its not Taj and its... More

I think this is the property the Taj Group forgot exists. It is not a Taj Property but a forest guest house (in fact a forest guest house would probably be better) in the guise of a Taj property. Now where do I start ? Everything that can be wrong in a hotel is wrong with this place .......... the... More

In Sawai Madhopur, the only attraction is Ranthambore and the only focus is Safari and repeat Safari till the Tiger sighting is done again. With such a clear focus, the property takes a back seat. But this particular property is not only great (comfortable rooms, huge and well maintained lawns, good food) but is also inviting. The hotel staff go... More

The grounds of this hotel are stunning and you can see some lovely birds during your stay. Unfortunately our stay was not a pleasant one. We arrived at gone three o'clock to be told our room wasn't ready. When we were shown to it there were pubic hairs in the bath. I complained to our tour guide who arranged for... More
