As senior citizens, my husband and I had a wonderfully restful and luxurious stay. During the day, we went on safari in nearby Ranthambhore National Park.We were so fortunate to see 4 tigers, a leopard, hundreds of peacocks and many other animals and birds. At night we were mesmerized by the haunting music (of the strolling musician and the brilliant... More

Stayed here as part of an Overseas Adventure Travel Trip. Guide told us it was a palace to visit and our hotel was back in the forest, as a joke. It is truly a maharjha's palace with mirrored decorations. and beautiful gardens. It is the luxury of old money and staggering opulance. Service is impecable in the finest British style.... More

This rating was going to be excellent but after experiencing two sleepless nights I am not too sure how to rate the experience. This hotel looks very grand and is in an excellent location for viewing the National Park. The room was clean and comfortable and the food adequate. Staff were friendly. There were very few guests staying and we... More

Although you can see the palace from far while driving to the hotel, yet the magnificence and sheer elegance and expanse will mesmerise you the moment you enter. And you'll remember that forever. Every traveler going to Ranthambore has only one thing in minds to catch a glimpse of and if possible to 'shoot' a tiger or two. But staying... More

This hotel was booked for us through our tour company Elegant Journeys. We could not have been happier with their choice. The hotel is only 10 years old, but it is designed after a royal hunting palace. It is so well done that I swore to my husband that it was really old and that we had misunderstood about the... More

Approaching Nahargarh from a distance, it appeared as if it were a mirage of fantastical proportions. I felt as if a magic carpet carried me the distance and deposited me at the front gates. I was totally enchanted and my eyes kept finding neat little hideaways and lovely art work as I glided through each of the many courtyards en... More

We arrived early evening and the overall presentation of the hotel / fort was magnificent, drop dead gorgeous. Thought we had stepped into a part of Indian history. The staff we fantastic, wait staff terrific, spa wonderfully relaxing. We would've loved to have stayed longer than two nights. An oasis.

The hotel is beautifully designed being based on the style of the old palaces built around 3 large courtyards (think there were three may be four!) Rooms are designed such that they are extremely private with own flower strewn courtyard and sitting out balconies. The rooms themselves are extremely large and very comfortable with spacious modern bathrooms. Everything spotlessly clean... More
