I had the opportunity to stay 6 days and 5 nights at the Angel Fire Ski Resort in January, and I have to give this resort only 3 stars because of the state of the room. A family of 4, well traveled group, so we were not impressed with this resort. Mainly the rooms were a huge disappointment. We stayed... More

Dear GB_InTexas, Thank you for sharing your feedback and pictures with the on-line community. I am surprised to hear that you didn’t enjoy the room you mentioned. The atrium rooms are our most sought after rooms during the winter. The feedback on the rooms is generally that they are liked because the atrium protects them from the outside elements but... More

The staff here are amazing!! Always willing to help and answer any questions. I booked this trip through the travel club I joined last year. I read other reviews regarding the accommodations and how the rooms needed to be updated. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are really nice and hardly need an upgrade.... More

We wanted to do night time tubing, so I went to front desk and she gave me directions within resort, and told me have fun. We got fully dressed in our ski attire, followed her directions, only to find out they were not having it that night. She apologized and informed us at 10am it will open tomorrow. So we... More

Loved the family suite! Would love to have a mirror in the room so that girls can do makeup/hair without occupying the restroom for others. Also, not alot of lighting..loved the open windows but at night very dark in room. Always a fun, great time at Angel Fire! Will be back:)

Stayed in the Lodge itself in one of the "premium" rooms. Other than a jetted tub, nothing premium about it. The location is perfect as it is close to anything you want to do. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms just really need some updating - paint walls where nicked, new carpet, etc.

This hotel is old, smelly and a disappointment. The hotel is nice on the outside but the minute you get to your room you realize what a mistake you've made. The decor is straight out of the 80's, the carpet was stained with nail polish or lipstick, the door did not have a second lock which was scary. In the... More

The hotel itself is absolute beautiful! Very Southwestern feel. Annie's was delicious. Legends Bar & Grille was decent. My room was very dated, no air conditioning, but there was a beautiful fireplace (awesome if it were winter). There was, howevr, a box fan provided in the room (very loud). The shower kept changing temperature, and couldn't be adjusted to spray... More

Stayed this past weekend at one of the vacation rentals operated by The Lodge. Well equipped, large unit. Plenty of separation between rooms. Other folks in the unit did not interfere or likewise. Kitchen well supplied, the community is lovely and the unit was a short walk to the main lodge for restaurants, pool, hot tub and the like.

Usually this is a great place to stay. The room had carpet stains and I didn't want to walk around without shoes. The bed was nice but the pillows were so big and hard that it felt like you were sleeping on a log. We traveled with 6 other couples and no one had a good nights sleep.

Although rooms are a little older, they were large and the bed comfortable. There is a cafe and store onsite.
