We stayed at Angel Fire Resort this past July, and are heading back in Oct. We were greeted at the front desk by an amazing friendly, and polite staff. (Shawna was great) The staff at the Coffee Shop, Angie's were very accommodating to our special requests. The food was hot and cooked to order. Coffee was GREAT. We played golf... More

We stayed in a pet friendly room, which is great that they accommodate pets. The room was as expected for a pet friendly room, nothing was new, but nothing was old and gross either. Our particular room had windows at ground level and a car could park right in front of them. There was also no AC in the room,... More

Let me start by saying the staff was wonderful. The hotel itself is in need of updating. The shower head was spewing out water everywhere but on me, and the rooms really need to be updated. The area is breathtaking. Legends Grille on the property was only ok, we had German food and the cabbage was so over seasoned neither... More

Top notch food, service and ambience. We attended a fundraiser for Big Brothers/Big Sistrrs, a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. The Western barbecue buffet was hot and tasty, the wait staff had dressed for the theme, the drinks were efficiently replenished and the dishes were cleared surreptitiously so as not to distract. It was the First Annual and I hope for... More

The setting is spectacular in the summer. Not much to do at Angel Fire in the summer but Taos is a 40 minute car ride and well worth the time spent. The timeshare properties are not well maintained for some reason. The road was not paved and needed leveling. We had spiders and water bugs in the room. The ice... More

We stayed here in August with another couple. Good resort. All the food was good at every restaurant. Our room was a bit dated and dark but clean. We rode the ski lift a few times. Beautiful surroundings. We would stay here again!

We actually stayed in a cabin near here in the summer. We drove to Taos several days, but spent the majority of our time in Angel Fire. Very peaceful place in the summer. The wildlife here is amazing. If you are quiet around dusk, you can see just about every kind of native species that you care to see.

Overall, the staff was good. We did have a couple of minor issues with forgetful staff at Legends and Annie's restaurants. The hotel itself is seriously in need of cleaning and repair, not to mention updating. Parking behind the Lodge along the road reminded me of areas I would not feel safe leaving anything in my vehicle. I was very... More

Angel Fire is close to Taos and Red River but without all the tourist traffic. The Golf package is very nice and the course is moderately difficult. There are some very nice restaurants nearby, one called H2 was particularly good.

Hotel is showing it's age. The room was clean, but in need of updating. No A/C in the rooms. Box fans are provided but we had to sleep with the windows open. With the curtains closed it didn't help much, thankfully it was not too hot in Angel Fire. The cafe in the lobby is nice, but needs to stay... More

Dear TLPearce61, Thank you for sharing your feedback with the on-line community. With Angel Fire, NM being over 8600 ft. many homes and properties don't have air conditioning, as we are usually cool enough both day and night. However, this year was warmer and we tried to make sure and have plenty of fans on hand for our guests. Property... More
