We reserved two nights over the 4th of July in a delux suite in the hotel. We were given room 401. First thing I noticed was that room was hot. There was no AC only two oscillating fans. Our hope was that it would cool down at night. Room has a private patio but it was covered with what look... more

This was our first time to visit Angel Fire....My husband and his brother, myself and my sister-in-law...On our way we were worried about no snow..But..when we got there the place was amazing....Gorgeous white stuff everywhere...We took over 450 pictures....The scenery was just beautiful....We rented ski equipment and everyone was so helpful at the rental....My husband took the ski lessons..It really... more

I had a few problems with the resort, but nothing that would keep me from staying there again. The rooms are quite spacious, have a frig & balcony. The bathroom was average, although it was a wonder that I was able to get my makeup on straight, the lighting was BAD... Other that that, it was OK and I would... more

Spent the last week of March "slope side" at AF with my fiancé and kids. Angel Fire is a sleepy town with OK skiing. This "resort" hotel is in dire need of an upgrade. There were large signs in the lobby advertising some great new upgrade construction in progress......we didn't see anything. Skied the first day at AF, the conditions... more

angel fire's base lift is less than 100 yards (and more than 100 stairs) from the back entrance of the hotel. that convenience was why we booked our stay here and we truly appreciated that. we had room 505 which has a balcony view of the base lift. it is a double, double, with two upholstered chairs, ottoman, desk/ chair,... more

My wife, our 5-mo old baby, and I stayed here for three nights, just before spring break '08 hit. The hotel was just what we wanted: - comfortable room. Yes, it was on the dark side, but it was clean, had a fridge, a coffee maker, and plenty of space - easy access to the slopes. We took turns riding... more

Took the wife and kids up here for a long three days of skiing. The hotel staff was unfriendly and apathetic. Our room was "ok" for what you pay (2 queens). The lights in the room needed new bulbs which never did get replaced after several requests. Walking down the hall, we were welcomed to broken appliances (washing machines and... more

One of the worst places, stay at any place but here. we booked king suite and the balcony open to the inside of the resort. Our bed was 30ft from a loud bar and a 5 piece band that played all night when the front desk told us the bar would be closed @ 10 (try 1:30am). the indoor pool... more

We have stayed at the Angel Fire Resort three separate times. Overall, no complaints. We always get a double room, the balcany faces the mountain. On the last visit the view was the best. My brother and his wife got the "King Suite", although it was nicer than ours, the balcany faces the pool area and tends to be noiser.... more
