Hare Krishna guesthouse was a delight. We had a spot of problem with our booking in another hotel and were directed here. I couldn't be happier as Mr. Kamel was so sweet and kind. The rooms were clean (love the murals!) and you can ask for room prices. They range from Rs. 900 to Rs. 1200/- so you can decide... More

Mr Kamel who runs this Guest House is the best. I had unfortunately had a very important bag stolen on the bus on the way from Pushkar to Jodphur (don't take the government buses in India ever unless you want to sit next to two armed policeman chained to a prisoner!) and he did absolutely everything he could to help... We stumbled across hare Krishna after arriving at 5am from an overnight bus. They were very friendly, the room was basic but satisfactory. We took the cheap option (350 INR) which had a shared toilet, but there were en suite rooms available. Rooftop restaurant area was lovely, though not the best food. It was nice to have some semi-western food... More

Good Fort Views from rooftop, and the building has some charm about it. Decent price for budget accommodation. We booked through Agoda a deluxe room with Fort View, the room itself was large and quite nicely decorated, but there was no working power points so we couldn't charge anything. They changed us to another with no windows or Fort View.... More

Restaurant. First impression : Very neat, tables are clean. Lounge is cosy and nice. You can lie on couches. The vue is as nice as many high rooftops. Reception : Being welcomed by the non-talkative cooker is not the best, but his food is soooo tasty. He is also sensible ! Being welcomed by Manoj occurs to a delightful moment.... More

I aged about 60 years and my wife aged about 54 years reached this hotel after a day long tiring self drive. The hotel people denied to give us a room despite showing them the booking id no.TGU0001738563 done through travelguru. They gave us a reason that they don't get any payments from travelguru and have already told travelguru not to... The 'Highs': 1. The rooms were clean and comfortable (although we had to take a deluxe because the standard rooms had decorative holes in the walls and open cracks around windows and the area was rampant mosquitoes.) 2. The view of the fort from the rooftop restaurant was pretty amazing and the food was good. The 'Lows'; 1. The wifi... More

Great location near market and fort. Room was clean and nicely decorated with a lovely big bed (7-foot wide and long!). Staff very helpful. The outstanding feature for us was the superb food from Chef Raju, who has worked at the Umaid Bhavan. Some of the best dishes we ate in India - and we have been here for 2-months.... More

At about £8 for a double room, Hare Krishna Guest House is excellent value. The owner was friendly and helpful, our room was fine, the location was great for exploring Jodphur and there is a comfortable restaurant area with an excellent view of the fort. Our only complaint would be the bathroom. My girlfriend managed a brief hot shower but... More

The Good: spacious, comfortable, interestingly decorated rooms. We opted for a "Deluxe Room with View" that had our own small balcony. The room decor is a bit tacky, but I thought it added to the charm! The rooftop restaurant is pleasant. Good wifi, great water pressure, friendly staff (particularly the owner). The Not So Good: Slow service at the restaurant.... More
