The welcome and service is very good. It is prompt, courteous and efficient. The people are simple. A little training to get a better edge would be desirable for some staff. The hotel is a little hidden away down a sidestreet but really stands out once you arrive. It has been styled with striking features and ornate furnishings. The hotel is beautiful. The property and staff were fantastic. No complaints here. Food was good. Location was quiet but slightly removed, which may be a good thing. You can hear the Air Force jets taking off int he morning, but you can't see them. Which was a let down for me as they are cool. But highly recommended, great hotel. more

This hotel, like all Taj hotels, features superlative service. It is beautiful, sparkling clean. The pool is perfect. Good facilities. Breakfasts were excellent. This hotel is a very good value. I could hardly think of staying anywhere nicer in Jodhpur. more

We came here after staying at Trident in Udaipur, and they had pretty good service levels etc, but this place just beats our other experiences on this trip and earlier ones hands down... We were there for 3 nights-16th/17th/18th August 2009. Had a absolutely comfortable stay. Very GOOD Food made as per our specifications of NO ONION-NO GARLIC, though buffet could have been better. Would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody looking for 5-star comfort with value in Jodhpur. more
