We arrived in Jodhpur by train and the hotel arranged a car, just before entering into the old city we transferred into their blue rickshaw which was really cool. Check in at the hotel was smooth and fast. Despite seeing pictures of the hotel in advance I was amazed at how fantastic it was. The view of the fort the... More

Unbelievable view, great food, great pool, lovely rooms, but the thing that makes this place stand out is the staff - they are incredible. A real haven in a beautiful city. The kids were wowed by all the facilities, and I will never forget lying in bed looking up at the castle...

This is boutique hotel at it's best. Wonderful combination of old and new architecture, beautifully and sensitively restored. Planned to stay in one of the Heritage suites which offer the most atmosphere as are in old original haveli. However on arrival we chose to stay in a modern duplex suite as I was travelling with my mother and son and... More

Good location. Nice modern hotel. The haveli is converted very tastefully. We loved the breakfast setting. The view of the fort is stunning. The staff is helpful and friendly (as almost everywhere in India). There is a cute mosque next door. With the usual prayer rhythm. We are used to it so it did not bother us. We tried the... More

This place is a truly special treat in every way. It is located in the heart of Jodphur just behind the bustling market, amid the stunning blue houses in the city, but the Raas Haveli is a stunning, calm retreat. All the staff were fantastic, the rooms spacious and beautifully decorated, the restaurant and pool have a view of the... More

A real gem in the city and well worth seeking out. Nestled in the heart of the city the hotel on first look seems unassuming and to get to it you have to travel through the bustling city - which is a trip in itself. Def a oasis in the heat and dust. Service is superb (potentially a little bit... More

The Raas was probably the most modern hotel we stayed at during our recent trip to India. The setting is very dramatic. There are amazing views of the Blue City and the fort from all over the property, including the room we were in as well as from the pool and restaurant. The rooms were spacious with really comfortable beds--the... More

Certainly the highlight of our hotel experience in India. Beautifully decorated, very well-served, very family-friendly staff, beautiful rooms, lovely swimming pool, excellent good. The staff deserve an excellent mention as they went above and beyond our expectations and to accomodate all our needs. The pnly downside is the call to prayer, which is a bit annoying, but it's not a... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was the most peaceful night sleep since moving to Mumbai in August. Great rooms, views, pool and food. There is a nice shady side of the pool for those not interested in sun munching that includes poolside service.

Arranged a one night stay through our travel agents to break our journey from Jaisalmer to Delhi. As luck would have it, the Raas was the best hotel we stayed in on our Indian holiday; an unexpected little gem. The staff have a superb customer service ethic and manage to avoid the intrusiveness that mars other hotels we stayed in.... More
