It's a must visit station. The place is extremely calm as well as homely. The safari and sunset point, might make your heart crave for more. The craft center (Sundar Rang) provides you with beautiful traditional rajasthani handicraft items which a made by the women of the village itself.

I stayed at this hotel last week. I was travelling with my wife and son (3 yrs) and we decided to stop here before going to Jodhpur. It was a fantastic decision. The hotel was nice and had a old and royal feel to it. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is big and clean. Definitely... More

I lived at Chandelao Garh for 8 weeks while working on a development project for the women of Chandelao Village. The staff were nothing short of wonderful to me, and the accommodations were exquisite. If you are looking to step back into the past of Rajasthan, this is the place for you! If you do get the chance to visit,... More

IT'S SO! India. -after driving for 40 minutes from Jodhpur, we reached Chandelao Garh. It's an oasis that brings you back in time. What a history! They greeted us with cold fresh made drinks, and the relaxation did begin. After visiting the "hustle and bustle" in other Indians cities, this was truly a positive experience! The Fort is laying in... More

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in March. Having visited India at least 15 times and lived in India for 5 years, I would highly recommend this stately home as a must do experience. The owner Pradaman Singh, we found to be charming, helpful and insightful, who has lovingly restored this home into a hotel with all the comforts a... More

The warm welcome with a drink & garland ensured a happy start to our 2 day stay at Chandelao. It's a heritage kinda property meant for the discerning traveller, coz the rooms do not have a mini-bar & fridge, yet they are modern & gorgeous, with even more lovely & bigger bathrooms. The newly added pool was a delight given... More

Our 2nd visit & we were not disappointed! Chandelao is a wonderful relaxing place. Just sitting in the gardens reading or watching the wild peacocks is rewarding. The women's coop next door is an amazing experience. Pradaman (owner) has encouraged the local women to make & sell their own work. There are clothes, bags necklaces etc. the women here are... More

Chandelao Ghar is a getaway from the rush and the noise of Indian city life, a short drive outside Jodhpur, the Sun City or the blue city. Built in the **** , the stately haveli or home of the land-owners from the area, Chandelao Ghar is now restored to retain its old world charm with modern day comforts and uniquely... More
