I cannot recommend Yogi's guest house enough. Its perfectly located in the small lanes of the old part of jodhpur, yet has a spacious courtyard. Family run restaurant by Yogi, his dad and elder brother. All 3 are colorful and helpful characters. Even though it is primarily targeted for the backpacker crowd, i went there with family including grandmom. They... More

Lovely place to stay and they really do welcome you like you are part of the family. Goju in particular is very warm and friendly and there are various other characters who are interesting to meet. The rooms vary greatly in price and quality. I managed to move finally to the room with proper AC and a view of the... More

We had a double room without A/C in this really well decorated Guesthouse last week. The room was just clean and acurate. The common area, the roof restaurand and the nice manager was really extraordinay. Very good value for money, good rooftop restaurant and great location below the fort. I don’t doubt that Yogi’s not quiet as sincere as he makes out, but he and the staff there really helped out us out when we had an incident with a dog bite, the chap Gaju was incredibly kind and they all showed genuine concern. Gaju... More

Firstly getting there is a mystery as it is a maze of alleyways but thankfully the auto got us there from the railway station for only 20RP; but that was at 0720 so business was quiet at the time. Kind of at ransom at 0430 when we needed a return auto to the train station but got the hire from... More

The rooms we had were clean, the rate before you stay as the rate was different from what was in the guide we paid 950 a night, I suspect we could of got a little better but that being said we got the room from very early in the morning (swings and roundabouts). The staff can be a little hostile... More

Firstly, Jodhpur is well worth a visit, especially for the amazing fort, beautiful and a great tour. Yogi's guest house is an atmospheric 'haveli' in the old town between the fort and the main bazaar. its around a colonaded courtyard, with a roof terrace cafe which is a great place to meet other travellers. Yogi himself is full of help... More
