I had the opportunity to stay for 2 nights at The Shreenath Palace in Jaisalmer. The city is unique and if you stay inside the fort you can experience it in the evening and early morning with no tourist. I was received as a part of the family, given all the informations by Raj and even was given presents to... More

I was torn between Shreenath and another haveli within the fort, but we absolutely made the right choice. Everything was perfect- the hosts were exceptional and the rooms were beautiful. It was my friend's birthday and the staff surprised her with a birthday cake, sweets, and rose petals everywhere. It was magical! They also helped whenever we needed a recommendation... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of my sister - who raved about the place - and were very glad we made the effort to do so. The building, once the home of a 16th century prime minister, is completely unchanged and unspoiled with exquisite stone carved pillars, window and door fittings, and traditional furnishings of red velvet, silks and... Our room was heritage and like a small palace with old stones and carvings. Tasty breakfast every day. Location was perfect inside the fort and the family who runs the haveli is sincerely friendly. We would recommend the place to anybody.

Thanks a lot Om uncle, Raj and Rinku bhai for doing everything to ensure our stay was most memorable one ever. Never felt like we were staying in a hotel but it was a like a home where everything was at our disposal. Jaisalmer Fort is the only fort in India(or maybe the world) which is inhabitated by over 400... More

I arrived at this haveli after a crazy awful night on a really terrible bus - I was sick, cold, and tired. The minute I stepped in the doors - I started feeling better. Within 10 minutes, Omjee had me ushered to a soft chair, wrapped in a warm wool blanket, and drinking delicious masala chai - with a hot... More

Recommend this boutique historic home in the fort at Jaiselmer. The host with the most Omgie fed us breakfast and regaled us from his day bed in the foyer. Overlooking the Jain temples and set in Clean Laneways ( yes! You can walk around without watching your step - for the one and only time in 4 weeks in Rajasthan).... More

I have stayed at this hotel on my many trips to Jaisalmer (usually room 4), so many times that in fact, Omgee and Manoj consider me part of their family. From the very first when the toilet was downstairs and outside in a shack on the verandah to the beautiful en-suite rooms of today the atmosphere has always been exotic... More

We arrived sick after a hellish night bus ride and were pampered beyond our wildest imagination. It was like being at your grandparent's house. They also helped make onward travel reservations which was also great.
