Stayed in April 2015 for 4 nights, had a great experience at the hotel. Spacious room with ac, very clean and an amazing view. The hotel is inside the fort, walking distance from the palace and the Jain temples. All the staff was very helpful and eager to please. Pricey but worth it. Aside of the hotel, go to Jaisalmer,... Enormous care has been taken in developing and fitting this small hotel, that sits on the battlements of the fort overlooking the entrance, the town and the desert beyond. The deal is quite simple: a really comfortable bed in a meticulously decorated room, with bathroom; access to each of 3 comfortable roof-top terraces and a day-room, a breakfast as you... More

Important to understand Killa Bhawan only serves breakfast and day-long complimentary tea, coffee, mineral water so if you want anything else you will need to make the effort to go out for it and your dining experience outside certainly won't match the luxury inside. (There is a quaint little restaurant 1 minute from Killa Bhawan called The Surya (see separate... More

This has to be the most incredible place to stay with amazing views, comfortable, sunny or shady corners to sit in. This pleasant little place is away from the hustle-bustle of the city down below. Its interesting to discover how guests have to arrive here: off-loading into a tuk-tuk (best to travel fairly light!), through the 4 gates into Jaisalmer... More

My girlfriend and I spent 3 weeks traveling around Rajastan in November 2014 and both loved it here. Personally I think this was one of the nicest places we stayed. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The owner was also very chatty and welcoming. He made us feel very at home. I always try to be as... More

I love the decor, so beautifully done, tasteful and well-maintained. The terraces are so wonderful to sit and chill, whether for breakfast or evening drinks. The staff are very attentive and honest. They wouldn't sell you camel safaris, or tourist trap trips, they were blatantly honest. "We do not want our guests to be dissappointed in anyways" I would have... More

Jaisalmer is hard to get to, since the airport is now closed, due to its closeness to the tense border with Pakistan. However, it's worth the trip! The architecture is stunning, and the Hotel Killa Bhawan is superb. The staff was super, the service was great, and the location is utterly mind-boggling. Wonderful! Give it a whirl; you won't be... We read all the reviews and finally decided to stay in the Fort. Yes it was the right decision. Killa Bhawan has beautiful well appointed rooms, seperate toilet and bathroom. Best of all was sitting on the terrace looking down on the world while having breakfast in the parapet walls. It was like being in a medieval story of Arabian... More

If you're going to Jailsamer its definitely better to stay within the walls of the fort city, rather than down in the main town(which might be a bit cheaper of course). Killa Bhawan is a perfect place to stay inside the fort. The hotel is made up of a number of houses/apartments which have been joined up into a single... More

Kills Bhavan is a outstanding boutique property situated inside the fort of Jaisalmer. You get to see a bird's eye view of the town. Sitting on the various terraces of the property and feeling the air of Rajasthan gives you a High in life. They serve breakfast on order mainly eggs , parathas and toast with juice and fruits. The...
