Visited Jaisalmer in Dec 15. Weather is awesome and the place is absolutely beautiful. But what made this trip outstanding was the hospitality at Winds Desert camp. The service is par excellence. The entire staff was courteous and took care of us like we were their family. That's Rajasthani hospitality for you! They took special care of my mother, she... More

We stayed at the camp on 25th December 2015. The camp is located in a nice surrounding near the dunes. The cultural programme was awesome with very fine artists entertaining you throughout the evening. The food was also very good. The main attraction is their cultural program and hospitality. Any thing to ask for and they make it available within... More

We had an amazing time in the cosy tents here. The food is delicious with a lot of variety. The evening cultural program is entertaining. Camel safari was included in our package and was enthralling..the breakfast next day was also good..staff was also well behaved..overall it was a good experience

The staff are amazing, however the tents are old and have seen better days. The washroom is from the 60's and not up to standard. Room service is negligible. Food was very good as was the service, the dance at night is awesome. Once in a lifetime is enough.

It was a very good experience of staying in a desert tent. After checking we went for the camel ride , which we enjoyed a lot. When we returned to the camp they welcomed us with a folk song. The cultural program held was very entertaining. The tents were very equipped with all the basic amenities. Bathroom with running hot/cold... More

We reached the winds desert camp by 5.PM. We were given our tents and we were told to get ready as the camel ride would start in some time and we needed to reach the sunset point max by 5.45.PM. Camel ride was fun and the sunset point was beautiful. The tents were amazing. Clean bed sheets, blankets. Bathrooms were... More

Just everything from start to finish was brilliant about this place. The hospitality of the staff, simple but delicious food, top class tents and its location from camel safari. The traditional folk dance was superbly performed by the troops. Overall, a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the winds dessert camp from 21st to 23rd dec 2015(2 nights). As its being winter season I was a little skeptical about staying at a tent in middle of dessert with a 3 year old kid. But the experience was excellent with the great service provided by the staff. Be it food, heater or any other facility... More

Great evening performers but very slow service. Camel safari was too short. The property is a bit far from the sand dunes. Some may like it and some may not. Breakfast was good. However, dinner was average. Evening snacks were poor. Lunch was provided on demand which was tasty. However it took too long for them to prepare. Room service... More
