This desert camp facility is not less than five star hotel. It was a great experience. One of the best place in Rajasthan. I will recommend this to all. Mr. Chatrabujh Singh rajawat was very help full. They have limited choice of food but I can understand that as it is far from city. It's a nice place to stay for... More

We (my spouse and kid) were there on 20th Feb'15...We from north India were excited to enjoy sand dune and location, therefore choose the most expensive camp.....Paid Rs1600 only for 4pm to 9pm. Reached 4pm there by separate taxi. They asked camel ride will start at 5:30pm....at the mentioned time, we discovered we were the only one for camel ride........ More

When we booked the Royal Desert Camp for 2 whole nights, lots of people told us the desert experience was good enough for a night & the 2nd night was absolutely a waste of money. But we were not disappointed - the experience turned out to be far greater than anything we had imagined. Right from the clean fuss free... More

We travelled to Jaisalmer for one night and were at Royal Desert Camp. The booking was done through cleartrip. The location is superb and bang opposite the sand dunes. On reaching there at 5.00 p.m., we were told to freshen up and come for camel ride at 5.30 and to view sunset on the sand dunes. The camel ride was... More

Best part about Royal Desert Camp is the location, bang opposite to the Sam sand dunes, you can even take a walk to the dunes, The camp is very well maintained with more than 100 tents and a nice dinner area in the centre. While on the way we saw few camps from outside and I feel Royal Camp is... More

We visited just last week 27th Oct.2014 to Royal Desert Camp. It was good experience. Prices compare to other camps bit expensive, but Tent, cleanliness was very appreciated. Dinner and breakfast was good, but evening snacks not having varieties. Staff giving more attention to Foreign guest. Manager Mr. B.M. Sing is co-operative.

You approach the tent city through fleets of tourist buses and camels galore. There are at least six camps adjacent to the Royal Desert Camp, offering very similar experiences. This makes for a lively atmosphere that continues well into the evening with the rival music groups and dancers vying with each other in the Thar Desert's answer to Ayia Nappa!... More

Poor food, no air conditioning makes stay during day uncomfortable, they do not clearly state that they do not have AC while they use superlatives like deluxe and super deluxe tents. I had booked 2 super deluxe tents for 3rd October. I wish I had stayed in jaisalmer hotels and done the day tour of sand dunes. The location is... More
