The Damodara camp was a superb camp which surpassed all our expectations. Prithvi was a very good host. The evening program, food and rooms were very good. The safari was well organized. Highly recommended to all.

This was one of my best experiences in the adventure travel genre, and this place remains in my heart for long for sure. Little away from main crowd and chaos of Sam, this place gives a real calm to your soul. Apart from nice tents and clanliness at this camp, the best thing is night sky watch in the clear... More

Hi Friends, I wish there was a rating above 5, I am glad that we ended our Rajasthan trip at Damodra Dessert Camp . Everything about this package was good. The pick-up reached the station on time, then as per package we got clean room to freshen up, took lunch at nearby restura, and as promised our pick-up jeep came on... More

With just 10 tents, the quiet, well run desert camp was truly welcome after the hectic energy of big cities like Delhi, Jaipur, and Jodhpur. Its young owner, Pappu, makes every effort to ensure his guests' comfort. Delicious food, wonderful music performances in the evening on a terraced space with a fire pit, beneath a starry starry sky. Very dreamy.... More

We didn’t no what to expect but this was arranged to our convenience and we left later then planned as the sun was still so hot. The camel ride was fun and not too long - a lot of sun cream and scarf’s were required to prevent burning. Then the camping was well - not quite camping we were used... More

The whole place is very compact and personal. There are only a few tents which sort of add to the whole small community type feel. The staff is very nice and the owner- Prithvi - is always available to chat and to facilitate things. Very clean and properly maintained tent with an attached loo along with fresh clean linen. They... More

This is the 2nd. time we have stayed at Damodra Desert Camp. The owner, Papu, makes you feel special from the minute you arrive. Starting with drinks whilst watching the Sunset, then on to an evening of great entertainment from the local dancers and musicians, followed by a delicious evening meal, and before going to bed gazed at the incredible... Good: Staff, including the owner - Prithvi - who make the whole stay a memorable experience Food: Almost the best food i ate on the trip - and saying that on a trip to Rajasthan whr everyday we stuffed ourselves silly on the culinary delights on offer is no small thing! Average: Camel Safari/Jeep trip - they were at par... More

Thank you very much for staying with us and sparing your time to post review about Damodra Desert Camp. Let us express deep apology toward your uncomfortable feelings on the bathroom. The camp locates in middle of the desert hence sometimes it's hard to keep the interior always away from dust and sand. We'd take your comment seriously and make... More

The whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. All the stops on the way to the camels were interesting. Camel ride was just the right length of time as it is not so comfy after a while. The dunes were pristine and the cold beer delivery out of nowhere was hilarious! The camp itself was a great experience -... More
