I got to stay in this hotel by coincidence, and it proved a wonderful experience. It's stylish cozy and has the best view roof top in Jaisalmer, I'm sure about that. Though it's not in the fort, the location is easy to get everywhere, and also good to protect the old fort by not staying in fort. The staff are... More

Manoj and his family take care of you like family. My friend and I stayed for a bit and had a wonderful time. They guide you personally throughout the area, cook really well too, and treat everyone like family. They are just full of warmth and their hotel is a little oasis in the desert of Rajasthan. We went on... More

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to the 2014 Rickshaw Run. During our stay we were made to feel like it was our home and not a B&B. The staff are mega friendly and stop at nothing to help you out. We even had Lucky (member of staff) take us round the town for 2 days helping us fix... More

I've spend three nights there with a friend and it was perfect. I was happy not to be in the center, but just needed 10 minutes to walk to the Fort. The rooms where big and clean. My favourite was the rooftop, where you have a great view by day and especially by night on the Fort. Furthermore the Service... More

The staff in Poll Havelli was the nicest I met in India. They made sure we were comfortable and was there to help with anything we could think of. We felt like home while traveling! The room was beautiful and clean. And the price was good.

Ethically No one should stay inside the fort due to it collapsing under the strain of new building (mainly guest houses!) and a crumbling drainage system, due to the same problem. So do the 'right' thing for yourself, and the fort, enjoy Jaiselmere with a clear conscience. If you are looking for a taste of 'real' India come here.To reach... More

A very nice hotel with a beautiful rooftop restaurant and great views of the fort and city. We were greeted with open arms and chai and a warm fire. The boys are very helpful and will try to get you anything you want! Short walk to anything you could want to see in the city. Great camel safari but no... More
