The reviews I read before booking were so good that I'd expected something quite different. It was a normal mid-range to budget accommodation. The weather was hostile during our stay and perhaps that coloured a bit of my mind. But really, I can't put my finger on it although I do feel dissatisfied. The rooms were clean enough. Common areas... More

It didn't even take 60 seconds before the owner asked if we were going to be going on a camel tour. As Desert Boys has a reputation for overpriced under valued overnight tours in the desert, we told them we were not planning anything. (we actually booked through Safari Travels just outside the fort for half the cost) At that... More

Qe thoroughly enjoyed this part of our trip. The desert boys picked us up from the train station and dropped us off just outside the hotel. We had to hike the rest of the way since it's situated in the crowded and narrow streets in the heart of the old fort. The rooms were great, very clean and carved out... More

The hotel is fine .the whole space quite impressive.we needed to ask for towels and the bathroom to be cleaned .( I understand it had not been done due to a staff member not being in that day ) Breakfast very average. Service the least friendly I have had in India but effective. They just seem disinterested , but I... More

We loved our stay here. We booked for 1, ended up staying for 3. We loved walking around the lanes looking in shops and visiting the temples. The roof top cafe has a great view. Breakfast was good. The best scrambled eggs I have had India. We had a great stay.
