We had a short stay in Jaisalmer, but it was completely worth going. Desert Boy's Guest House has an excellent location, it has lovely rooms with different rates depending on your budget, they are all beautiful. I can say it was the nicest guest house where I stayed during my travels in India. The restaurant offers delicious food at very... More

On a recommendation I decided to stay at desert boys in side the golden fort of jaisalmer. What began as a 10 day stay evolved into 6 weeks. My room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated each room being different makes it feel very exotic and comfortable. There are many little nooks to spend time in in side and out... More

You get a great sense of what it is like to live in a fort. The rooms are very atmospheric and it is a fun place to stay. The staff were helpful collecting us from the railway station very late at night. We stayed in a triple room and it was big enough for 4 of us (we have 2... More

My mum and I arrived in Jaisalmer on a 5am sleeper train and had a prearranged pick up, free of charge from the hotel(yay)! After a 10/15 minuite drive we were dropped off a short walk from the guest house (the roads leading up to it were too small for the jeep). Luckily the guest house had a boy waiting... More

A friendly place to stay in the heart of the fort in Jaisalmer --- pleasant and cool to linger around, either in the room or in the coffee house, or even terraces. Rooms are quite spacious with a personalised - if not tasteful decoration, wi fi works and it was overall a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and... More

A really nice place, they arranged pickup from the train station. The hotel was a short walk from where the car had to be parked which was a great intro to the charms of Jaisalmer. The welcome was friendly. We were shown 3 rooms, all simple but with charm though one, a little smelly. The whole place was very charming.... More

The reviews I read before booking were so good that I'd expected something quite different. It was a normal mid-range to budget accommodation. The weather was hostile during our stay and perhaps that coloured a bit of my mind. But really, I can't put my finger on it although I do feel dissatisfied. The rooms were clean enough. Common areas... More

It didn't even take 60 seconds before the owner asked if we were going to be going on a camel tour. As Desert Boys has a reputation for overpriced under valued overnight tours in the desert, we told them we were not planning anything. (we actually booked through Safari Travels just outside the fort for half the cost) At that... More

Qe thoroughly enjoyed this part of our trip. The desert boys picked us up from the train station and dropped us off just outside the hotel. We had to hike the rest of the way since it's situated in the crowded and narrow streets in the heart of the old fort. The rooms were great, very clean and carved out... More
