Have stayed in Jaisal Palace couple of times and the experience has been good everytime. To be frank, the only expectations I had were good room service, restaurant in hotel, central location and clean room with a/c and I got all at Jaisal Palace. Would recommend for budget stay.

I stayed here with my family for 2 days. location is in the centre of Jisalmer. Food is really good just like home made. staff is nice. Very near to mkt. and fort. Yeah, last but not the least, excellent night view of Jaisalmer fort. Proviison for roof top seating. Worth your money.

As a budget hotel, Jaisal palace is a bit over-priced and does not deliver on value . Rooms are small, no wardrobes / chairs are there, bathrooms are telephone box sized and linen looks old.
