I was here with my wife and to be honest we had a really good time, it was an experience of a lifetime, it was the perfect place for us, quit, peaceful and romantic. We went on camel safari, the experience was beautiful, the sunset was so romantic and spectacular. The tents were providing the basic needs, bathroom was good... More

The stay was comfortable and tents were good. But food and facilities were strikingly average. We didn't stay for long (1 night) and for that short time it is fine to stay there. Staff is a bit slow-responding and crass. You would be better served to stay anywhere else but here.

we wanted to experience the desserts living and recommend by a group of tourists about this place. It was the amongst the costliest stay in the trip 1) True.. what they say a small compound of huts covered by a boundary and surrounded by sand dunes... 2) we reached the place by 6 pm and after some rest, went on... Someone recommended us this place and we decided to go for the new years party here. We drove 40 kms outside the city to reach this place. We were highly disappointed. There was a new year party and there was a born fire but the entire thing looked shady. It looked liked a village marriage and I was not expecting... More

Stayed here with family in October 2012 for one night. It was first suggested by my travel agent. But we did not find any good reviews of this resort. Even their website was outdated. After a lot of deliberation we decided to risk it. And we were not disappointed. Location is secluded but all necessary amenities are provided. We stayed... More

As other reviews have identified , this resort feels deserted and this is exactly what we were looking for ! It may not be interesting if you are traveling with a family as things could seem boring with children but if you are looking for a quiet night and enjoy the peacefulness of the desert , this is the perfect... 3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

We stayed there with extended family in March'12. It is far off from the other Sam sand dune tents like Chokhi Dhani, RTDC, etc. We had really hoped some good cultural program but were very very disappointed at the resort. There was only one other family and the place looked deserted (although that's not their fault). Really wished that we... More

I stayed in this resort for one night with my wife during Nov/2011. It is located at about 30kms from Jaisalmer. on way to Sam. While reaching, I was struck by loneliness of the place. Resort is run by a Caretaker with Kitchen staff and Night Chowkiders. I booked one Swiss Tent online through Cleartrip for INR 5000. The Swiss... More
