Hotel in the palace complex. Rooms are big and spacious. However rooms are very old and need rework. Food is below average but restaurants in Lal garh palace (next to hotel) are fantastic and probably the best in the city

Visited this hotel for lunch on my tour to lalgarh palace and sadal muesum... Saw all its rooms. It has two wings sagar and sagar niwas... Some rooms are renovated and some old... Its best to book the hotwl on spot if not going in peak season... Its farway from railway station... Some rooms have real dirty old bathrooms so... More

The location seems to be good ,however the rooms we stayed wasn't worth the stay though it was overnight. The rooms need to upgraded including the toilets & the wifi connetion. However the food here was good.

Our stay here was fine. The room was average size with poor lighting and a confusing air conditioning unit. The power cuts meant we were really hot for long periods of time but we'd become accustomed to it. There was no wifi in the room and the "internet cafe" was more like an office filled with business men who did... More

We had a school group of 100 students on 13th Sept 2014. Hotel is located in peaceful location. Decorated like an beautiful haveli. Only thing missing was a swimming pool. It is was excellent experience for the students from Maharashtra were we wont find such type of hotel.

This was sold to us via a third party travel agency Centre Tours and Travel. This particular hotel was sold to us as a heritage experience, soaked in history. However it was simply an old, unkempt building which did not appeal to our senses. At a price of £28 per night we were not expecting to have a five star... More

This one is a fair way outta town. Not necessarily a bad thing when you see the shambolic old city and the fairly crappy hotel offer in there. The greeting was a touch perfunctory, verging on surly. An impression not helped by my clearly establishing that the Wi-Fi did not extend beyond reception, in spite of repeated assurances to the... More

Our driver advised the hotel, guess after 1,5 wks he still did not understand what we were looking for. Very bad and unfriendly service, already at the front desk, free wifi wasn't working and no-one cared to fix, the hotel was being renovated which gave a lot of noise and dust everywhere. There were no windows in the room, very... More

thought was booked into Sagar but was actually in adjourning Niwas hotel owned by same people and used the Sagar restaurant that was good but only vegetarian, and no other restaurant nearby. Quite palatial building; beautiful large room; courteous staff. Hotel well located for visiting nearly Lalgarh palace (now a hotel) that is well worth visiting for the architecture.
