The Vinayak Guest House is a decent family run guest house run by good folks, but the best part is that Jitu is a Zoologist and took us on an incredible trip to the country to see local plants and animals and explained lots of cultural subtleties. Seeing the birds of prey and our conversation were really special. Definitely stay... More

For my friend and I, this was the first home stay experience on the whole and especially in India. Though my friend had her apprehensions about line stays, what I read about this place on trip advisor made me want to explore this option further. And thank heavens it was not a faulty decision! Jeetu is unlike a manager we... More

Nice family run guesthouse in close proximity to the cities attractions. Clean, spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Family who run this guesthouse are lovely, and very friendly. Great value for money.

Lovely family, very friendly and welcoming. Jitu and his wife made me feel really welcome giving me food and inviting me to celebrate festivals with them. Beautiful little garden/courtyard to relax in and very safe. No WiFi but Jitu is very happy to lend you his laptop for internet.

My brother and I stayed here for several nights and had a great time. The rooms are reasonable and clean. There is a nice social/dining area to hang out in, and lots of other travelers while we were there. The food was excellent. Jitu was very helpful, providing local information and helping organise trips. The highlight was doing a jeep... More

Vinayak Guesthouse is a great place to stay. I stayed here 5 weeks, because I did an internship in Bikaner (Februari - March 2014). The warmth of the family really made me feel at home. It's a safe and peaceful place, the garden is a great place to relax and drink a cup of Chai! The food is amazing! Prepared... More

I did not stay at Vinayak Guest House, so no comment on it, But the owner also arranges eco tours, which was highlight of our trip. We visited local area for bird watching, having never heard previously about such a spot in Bikaner. He has good knowledge about the local and migrants birds and helped us identifying lot of birds.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed with Jitu in March of 2013 (I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write this long over-due review). I cannot stress enough how he and his family made our stay in Bikaner one of the best we had during our 3 months in India. Their hospitality and generosity to ensure a safe and authentic... More

The warmest welcome in India so far! ‘Jitu’ welcomed us after our bus ride from Jaisalmer and offered us a free pickup too. Sadly we’d been hijacked by the tuk tuk touts straight off the bus and were taken to another hotel first, but eventually managed to get to Vinayak and we are so happy that we did! Nothing was... We stayed at Vinayak for 5 nights over the camel festival in Bikaner. The rooms are undeniably basic, whilst not too cramped our room was relatively small, the bathroom a bit tired, largely clean by Indian standards but not spotless. This leads me to my only real problems with Vinayak. For the price that we paid r600 a night, we've... More
