Nice little hotel and trek ruined by bad management and extremely rude senior staff (mother and son). I was spoken to like a child when I questioned suspect additions to the bill, and a friend was charged 200 rupees to leave her bag and have a quick shower before paying 2000 rupees for a one night camel trek - a... I recently stayed at Vijay guesthouse after a 2 year absence with 4 motorcycle mates on a rajasthan tour. I was pleasently surprised to see the rooms have been upgraded and the price still very reasonable. Highlights are secure bike parking, fantastic home cooking including non veg curry., excellent travel advise from vijay, especially if you want to explore the... More

That the guesthouse is quite a bit out of town, is not a big issue. Vijay takes care of transportation for you upon arrival and departure. In our case, this meant he got up at 5:30am and drove us to the train station himself. The guesthouse has a nice garden, spacious rooms with great value for money, good home cooked... More

Vijay and his family - they are so good !!! Very decent and well cultured people. And the place is good and neat. This place is easy to locate too. We stayed in this place for a night, next day we stayed in their place in the desert. That too was a great experience. We drove all the way from... More

Very nice people. Good value for money. Quite big room. Nice garden. Vegetarian family. We did "one day - one night" camel safari there : well organised, we were just the two of us with 3 camel men. Half-day on camel could have been sufficient for us, but still a great experience to sleep in desert ! Do not expect... More

We stayed in this hostel for three nights and fully enjoyed it! The owner was not there at the time, but both his son and wife speak great English and were very helpful. We organised a pick up at the train station and he was on time, even though the train was 20 minutes early. It felt like a warm... More

The guest house is ok, the rooms are clean and the staff is nice but the camel safari is just a touristic attraction: no desert just countryside, no loneliness, no beautiful places. The owner looks like Umberto Smaila (Italian readers will understand) but he is ok!

The guesthouse is basic but clean and nice enough. Owners were friendly UNTIL we said we weren't interested in the safari tour. We had some very good reasons for not being interested in the safari tour, and even if we didn't: a decent guesthouse owner should respect this. All we heard about is how great their tour was and they... More

We booked in here predominantly to take the camel safari with Vijay (Camel man) what a surprise to find the rooms really nice and clean and well kept, good hot shower and a real family style dining experience. To the last Vijay was ever the host.....getting up early and waiting for the bus with us to ensure we caught the... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights after a hotel in the center was too noisy for us. This one has a calm atmosphere and has some green grass too! The rooms are nice and clean and a very reasonable price. We also got towles. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms and sometimes it doesn't work in the common... More
