This place is offering a unique experience of life unless you came during the Monsoon festival, which is every year from 13 to 16 august. I am still here and every day they let in the resort a flock of 300/400 locals with a day pass which are convinced to be in a third class Club Med. They go to... More

Dear Friend, From your photo, I recognize that you are the person who played accordeon with the band while here. I am the person who met you at welcome center, had lunch with you and your friend/collegue short before you left... I find it a bit sad that - apart from saying 'This place is offering a unique experience of... More

This is how front desk reply:... More

Dear Boon, Thank you for expressing your appreciation for the beauty and cleanliness of the meditation resort. A pity you didn't share your complaints with us while you were here, that would have given us the opportunity to advise you of the different accommodation possibilities, e.g. staying in our on-campus guesthouse, being in the Living In program, finding accommodation outside... I wanted to spend my Christmas and new year at Osho meditation resort, so I decided to drive from Goa to Pune. From the moment I arrived at the reception, it was a pleasure for the eyes to look at the beautiful trees, waterfall and the sheet of water around the reception area.It takes a while to remember that you... Before I went there, I read the comments here and almost did not go. Luckily, I followed my heart and decided to try on my own. And discovered another thing: It is an amazing place. The grounds are gorgeous, very clean (Western standards) and very well maintained. The managing team is full of Western People, so hygiene standards are perfect.... More

Dear Galena, Thank you for sharing your experience. As you write, the meditation rsort is a place for self exploration, it's an invironment that supports taking time for yourself. it is important that all women feel safe here, safe to move, free to dance under the sun and the stars... probably one of the very rare places in India... The meditation resort is luxurious, clean and amazingly quiet and serene in busy, busy Pune. The meditation programs offered cater to all experience levels - beginners through more practiced meditators. Just be here now and the magic happens. Osho had "it" right. Thank you to the staff and volunteers for keeping up the good work.

This my first visit and was quite prejudiced reading some conflicting reviews. My recommendation to anyone who is planning to visit, would be to let this place grow in themselves for the first few days. Make time and try to stay for 10 days at the very least. Do make sure that you attend the explanotary evening class that only... More

I read in my lonley planet book that this place was $70 a night. After buying robes and taking aids test, I dropped way more money than I wanted to spend. As with all my reviews, I like to take a balanced view. My disclaimer is therefore important – I have never meditated before, and my preconceptions of what meditation should be are based, admittedly, on popular media – that of peaceful, immobile submersion into the one’s mind. Myself and my partner came to Osho for 3N 4D after landing the... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A beautiful campus situated in the pleasant residential area of Koregaon Park, Pune, some fifteen minutes by air from Mumbai (formerly Bombay). This lush contemporary 28-acre campus is a tropical oasis where nature and the 21st Century blend seamlessly, both within and without. With its white marble pathways, elegant black buildings, abundant foliage and Olympic-sized swimming pool, it is the perfect setting to take time out for yourself. This is a place where you can simply relax and where you can also enjoy the company of visitors of all ages from over 100 countries. You can choose if you want to do something, or if you just want to rest, swim, meditate — or just to be.You can learn simple Osho Active Meditations, techniques specifically designed for the contemporary over-charged mind and stress-impacted body. You may like to nourish your body-mind-soul with a stunning selection of individual sessions, like bodywork and massage, and longer workshops and courses — all designed to help you become more aware of yourself.Or perhaps experiment by learning new life skills and acquiring tools to take home, that will help you remain relaxed even in the busiest of workaday environments. The key to relaxation is awareness, being a keen observer of all that is going on both inside and around us — this is the inner science, often also called meditation. And while we each walk this walk alone, it is more supportive and more fun to share the process with others, whether during the various daytime activities, or in the evening — trying out a new meditation technique, or enjoying an evening a party, dancing, or the plaza café, watching or participating in live theater events or just going to the movies.Above all this is a unique environment created through the awareness, humor, and celebration that each of us brings to the table. ... more   less
