I went there last weekend with my husband and two dogs.. everything was great.. the resort is located at the best viewing location.. the valley, Krishna river, dam enhanced with the sunset (we couldn't get up early to view sunrise both the mornings). We went to this place in August 2006. It was raining badly, power cut. The hotels is good. Nothing BAD! However service need lot of improvement. Also, the restaurant do not offer variety in menu. Fortunately the chef was good who provided us very tasty food. Panchgani Health resort is located on a hill on Panchgani - Mahabaleshwar Road. Good part is, it is not located in Panchgani town and now crowd. we visited hotel on 2nd oct,through highland holidays...according to charges we were informed as its a 3* property..but i will say it was.... rooms were nt good,no cleanliness,bathroom was toooo bad ...felt like vomiting.... regarding resort it is tooo big n also tooo much old everythng is rusted...swiming pool tooo bad ....with no water...only mud... watever game hall no games... A really good resort - very peaceful, very spacious. Mountain and river view was awesome. Services was good. We liked Marwadi style food here. Very simple and so tasty dishes. Excellent staff, and food. Room was okay type but with a balcony. Pool was not clean near to our room. We missed spa and other services. We'll surely plan to... More
