MTDC Ajanta is the best one can get near Ajanta caves. It is one of the best managed government owned resorts. Rooms were clean, had good balcony and were kind of separate 1 room villas/flats. Parking was there, food was tasty and the best thing was its closeness to the caves. We reached there around 10 am; checked in at... More

If you don't mind being away from chain restaurants and are willing to plan ahead for meals, this is a fantastic getaway. No frills.. clean rooms, hot water, very helpful office manager. We stayed here for 1 night, pre-booked the room online, no hassles. Leave early to beat the crowd.

The location of this property is amazing.. This is just at the parking from where one takes the Bus to Ajanta caves.. The rooms are nice and spacious.. There are only 5 rooms, so make sure you book in advance.. The only disadvantage is, there is no restaurant in this hotel.. For dinner one has to either tell the caretakers... More

This hotel is near to Ajanta Cave and you can catch shuttle to Ajanta by Walk. This property is surrounded by greenery. At the back side of hotel there is one good lake where you may find some Peacock. Its a well maintained good hotel to enjoy your vacation. Only thing i dont like is restaurant in premises. You have... More

We were driving from Khajuraho to Aurangabad and had to make a stop by Ajanta caves. The hotel (or multiple villas that constitute the hotel) are located just a 5 mins ride from the T Junction where you can catch a bus to Ajanta Caves. The accommodations are outdated and old, and even though the room was large and sheets... More

The resort is located close to the Ajanta caves and hence it is advantageous to stay there. Even though the rooms are very spacious, the property is not very well maintained. The staff was however very courteous. We stayed there for one night and would not rate is as a very bad option.

The location of the property is superb. Its just near the famous ajanta caves. There are 5 separate cottages for each family. The cottages were realy nice with big rooms and swings. There were dining table and a fridge. There was also a separate kitchen. The property was very well maintained. But there is no restaurent nearby so you have to rely... More

Not worth the Price. Room was in a bad condition. Water stopped in the morning and the care taker was no where to be found. Also you need to walk few minutes from the parking lot to the hotel entrance. The only good think is that the its at the main entrance of Ajanta and the Ajanta bust stop is... More

Pathetic is the word that describes the kind of resort (or whatever u want to call it!).. I really don't understand how could people praise this place.. 1. It is not worth the buck u spend 2. It is dirty, filthy and not maintained like all MTDC resorts 3. The plaster from walls comes off as soon as you touch... More
