This small hotel was set in a lovely garden, we had a temple view room that was interrupted by the gazebo, but a view was there. This must be a self rated hotel because it was definitely not 5 star. Everything was clean and tidy but the restaurant was really only a breakfast room, pet hate - TV in restaurant.... More

The Lalit Temple View is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and lived up to its reputation in most respects. We occupied a spacious temple view room on the top (second) floor which overlooked the swimming pool and the western group of Temples. We were able to walk to this fascinating group of Temples, which are... More

Beautiful Hotel set in large gardens. The staff were friendly and courteous especially in the restaurant. Lovely swimming pool, good spa treatments. Room was clean and spacious on the ground floor. We especially enjoyed the cooking demonstration given by Chef Jagadish in the garden under trees, it was fun and they were generous with the delicious recipes and the dishes... More

This hotel feels more like a business venue than a tourist destination. The welcome was friendly albeit not overly genuine. The room was clean and well appointed but showing its age and fraying around the edges. The grounds are well maintained and overlook the Western Temple complex. The pool area is very good - exceptionally clean, with ample sunbeds, towels,... More

Welcome and service After the journey from Varanasi to Khajuraho we were ready for a refresh and were welcomed with lovely fresh mango juice and Vaijanti Mala garlands representing love, peace and inner strength. As you’d expect of a hotel of this class the staff without exception were professional yet warm and friendly. Room We had a temple view room... More

If you notice the gallery of photos, no one shows pictures of the temple from the pool area.. except for the very top of a temple = it's blocked by walls. The temple complex is close to the hotel. Staff very nice and greeted everyone with a drink and necklace. Room was standard. Mattress too hard. Pool was cold.

We had such a positive experience visiting Khajuraho in late February that it's difficult to separate our reactions to Khajuraho from reactions to Lalit Temple View. Our overall experience at the hotel was a very positive one, from the minute we were greeted and given a garland of Vaijanti beads (the significance of which was helpfully explained on a printed... We were greeted upon arrival with a painted bindi, and the rest of the visit in this hotel was equally as pleasant. There is a small gift shop, and the woman running it was extremely helpful and friendly. The grounds on the hotel are beautiful as well, but it was too cool outside to go swimming in the pool. The... We stayed here for two nights - a very enjoyable stay. A beautiful hotel, spacious rooms and upmarket. The staff were all very polite and helpful. It is located close to the temples. We had a view of the temples from our room. A large swimming pool - very restful feel to the place. The staff at the restaurant very... More

We stayed 1 night to see the temples. The temples are an very short walk from the hotel. The hotel rooms were big and nice but there were mosquitos in our pool view room. There are no outlets in the bathroom for a curling iron non a place near a mirror in the bedroom. The food was good and the... More
