I've been going to ruidoso for over 25 years for vacation. I chose this place because of the location. We certainly did not get our money's worth at this place. All cabins are very close to eachother....parking space is very very tiny. The cabins were tiny...looks bigger then what it really is in the photos. It's certainly not worth the... More

I booked a cabin here for myself, my mom and my two children for our first trip to Ski Apache. Upon arrival, we found that due to a problem with the hot tub, we had been moved to the Jesse cabin, which was a larger cabin than originally booked. The cabins are all situated zig-zagged up a steep hill, giving... More

We stayed in the Jesse James Cabin over Christmas Break, 2012. We were hoping to be nearer the ski area over other places in Ruidoso, and this is probably about as close as you can get. We were a party of six, four adults and two kids. The sleeping areas were more than adequate, perhaps a bit small for some... More

My husband and I have stayed at the cabins 3 times over the last year and a half, and this is by far our favorite place to travel to. Each cabin we've stayed in was clean and cozy. The staff goes above and beyond to help you in anyway they can. Paula and Jennifer are so kind and helpful from... More

Cozy cabins in the mountains just outside Ruidoso, NM. It was a rainy and chilly afternoon when we arrived and the cabin was warm and toasty with soft music playing. There was five of us and two dogs so it was a bit crowded at times but also brought some fun to the evening with conversation and laughter. After grilling... More

This was our 6th time to visit Bottlehouse, and I was very leery because of the recent Little Bear fire. I was worried that we were going to see nothing but scorched earth surrounding our cabin. This was not at all the case. There was no fire damage on site. You could see damaged trees in a distance, but honestly... More

This is a long time coming...sorry Paula! My husband and I met in 1989 at Beale AFB and as life would have it we lost contact with each other after I had gotten out of the Air Force in Aug 1992. 18 years later while I was working as a contractor and he was on deployment in Bahgdad Iraq we... More

We stayed in the Breezy cabin during the first part of Spring Break and had a great time. The cabin is true to the pictures and the owners are more than helpful. It snowed a few times when we first got there and they gave us some great advice on getting up the drive to our cabin. Its steep, but... More

We stayed here twice, once for Christmas and a second time in March 2010. Its great for couples or a family getaway. My wife and I stayed with our 2 yr old daughter. The kitchen was well equipped with clean utensils, pots, pans and dishes (even spices). Nice furniture and decorations also. Located just steps away from the forest it... More

This was our 3rd trip here. As always, it was incredible. The cabins are clean, beautiful, comfortable and just wonderful. We've been here during snow, rain and sunshine and have loved every day. A four-wheel drive truck or suv is the best way to get up here. Cars make it, but I feel more comfortable with a four-wheel drive vehicle.
