This campground is one of the friendliest campgrounds we have ever stayed in. It is off the beaten path, spacious campsites, quiet, with river running through. We recently stayed 8 days enjoying the beautiful weather and great staff. Gary was especially helpful to us and the whole staff seemed to go out of their way to help. Very pet friendly,... More

The staff was wonderful. Curt and Susan were such a blessing. They helped us to get our fire our started in the rain, let us borrow their personal metal roasting sticks, help with our air mattress, brought us ice for our fish that we caught after the store was closed and checked on us throughout our stay to make sure... Took our 5th wheel to Bonito Hollow. The Staff was great. Gary stopped by every day to make sure everything was fine. Nice Facilities, Newly rebuilt bath house (old one burned). Great location. Liked the layout of the park. Nice play areas. Saw plenty of other "Campgrounds" in the Ruidoso area. Some were nothing more than a parking lot setup... More

Bonita Hollow is the best park we've ever stayed in. I can't believe how the owners manage to accommodate as we watched the park fill up for July 4th! They go all out with events for kids and they have the best Hawaiin shaved ice! They are building back so fast since the fire! Awesome bath house and pavilion! I... More

We stayed at Bonito July 3-7 and it was amazing! The camp hosts, the Humphries', go out of their way to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Wildlife came through the park each day. It was cool in the daytime and just chilly in the evenings. It rained a little every day and the area has greened up! We enjoyed... More

We camped here in a motorhome with two small children. The grounds are nice and even though there was a massive fire last year, it isn't really evident inside the campground. There are still trees and some grass. They could use more trees to add privacy between sites, but this is an RV park... You can walk along a small... More

This campsite is larger than ones down the street. Because several structures were lost during the great fire a few years ago, they are in the rebuilding phase- which is a benefit to campers! Everything is getting a much-needed facelift. The bathroom/shower area is huge. There's four super new and clean shower stalls and restrooms- one side for women, the... More
