We were few friends visiting for a day so the hotel was easy on the pockets. Facilities were worth the money and beyond. Though service is non-existant and was a great put off. The restaurant is outsoruced and manned by friendly folks serving only conitinental and North indian (No local delicacies). Again easy on your wallet. Since it was monsoon... More

I booked Non-AC room in Clafouti resort for 2 nights. Rooms were clean and well maintained. There was no TV in the room but when you have scenic beauty just outside your room, why will you need a TV in your room! The restaurant at the resort was well maintained. The range of Sea-food they are offering is huge. Food... More

Stayed for one night. Cozy, calm, mostly private, even outside in the premises, though that may have something to do with the fact that we went during off-season. The manager was helpful, breakfast at the cliff-top cafe overlooking the sea was great. The cottage rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. No TV in the rooms, but you wouldn't want it... More

stayed overnight with a couple of friends. The room was very basic with a very noisy aircon. There was thunder storm overnight and the power fluctates widely with lights coming and going. There is no TV or even a phone. Shower and toilet was also very basic. We ate at the restaurant .. we could point to a few fishes... More

I stayed in Clafouti in Dec'13 with my mum and was really touched by the hospitality and friendliness of the manager and all local staff. The restaurant is undoubtfully the best on Varkala beach - after trying a couple of other places we firmly decided to dine the remaining nights in it! The auverdic center "Amruthasanjeevani" is owned and run... More

During my stay at Odayam Beach in Varkala I found a tiny little beauty salon, which is run by Lakshmi. She does all treatments (Facial, Waxing,Theading, Pedicure, Manicure, Mehndi & Ayurvedic massages) herself, because she wants to provide the best quality for all her customers. I am a big fan of massages, but this was by far the best massage... More

Definitely not worth the money and would not be my first choice of a resort; however we arrived in Varkala with no staying arrangements and this hotel was so conveniently located (great great location- right on the cliff) The walkway leading to the cottages and buildings is really nice too. However the room was so basic (really not worth the... More

We stayed here after staying a little further back from the beach for another two nights prior to this. We paid similar in the pest place and expected somewhere on the cliff front to be much more expensive. It was not and really good value for money. Close to restaurants and shops but also peaceful. All in all would recommend.
