The location was great, the bungalows beautiful and the staff very friendly. Also, the sea was clean, the beach even cleaner (women sweeping the shells - a bit over the top) and there are no mosquitos to be seen! all great, one would say. From the minute we arrived at the airport we were given 5* treatment. Collected in a pristine clean car and driven to the hotel. This is a beautifully set hotel in a lush coconut grove. We spent two weeks at Coconut Bay with two 8 year old Boys and had the most wonderful time. The staff were kind and interested in our Sons welfare and particularly interested in our vegan diet which was easily catered for. We had a bad start as the room we had booked last June was not available until the day after we arrived. However the staff moved our clothes the next day and we were able to relax. Well... I just spend a month at Coconut Bay, in August 2006 and I have a lot to say about it! First it is an unbelievable quality value: approximatively in the Monsoon period: $100/day all inclusive, with... the Ayurvedic treatment and the air conditionned private cottage!!!
