We had a pleasant stay with Thomas and his family. The homestay is in a small village. One of the cottages is a 100 year old Keralan house Thomas moved to it's current site and the other is a lovely building he built. Inside decor is very simple, with limited facilities/extras. There was a lot of rain during our stay... More

We went there on 23rd Oct. We had done 2 days of booking, We returned back after a day. It's a good property for those who are nature lovers , trackers or group of young people, but it may not suit kids and elderly people . We were offered typical Kerala house type small cottage. It was neat & clean,... More

Usually whenever we go to places especially new ones, we look for - good access, good accommodation, good views around, good hospitality, enthusiasm of hosts' and obviously good food options. You get everything here. I exchanged about 20 email conversations with Thomas before going there as I was concerned about kids and elders in the group that had been there.... More

This was one of the highlights of our India trip. Comfortable accommodation in the middle of a spice garden with views to die for. Our hosts were a mine of information on all things Indian - local and national, ancient and modern - attentive, but never intrusive. We fed and slept well and left this memorable place with a more... All I can do is confirm what everyone has already said. We stayed in the traditional wooden house which was lovely, but the newer cottage has more space so both have advantages. Both have lovely verandahs to sit on, listen to the birds, read, relax. The view over Tamil Nadu is spectacular; Thomas' tour of his spice farm fascinating and... More

This is a very special place. Peacefull and beautifull placed in the countryside just at the border between Kerala and Tamil Nadu with a breathtaking view over the landscape. The family of Manayath Heritage served us with great hospitality, good food and an interesting roundtrip on their estate telling us about the challenges of running a spice plantage. On our... More

We were there in May, the weather was very pleasant up there, really not so hot as you would expect at this time of the year.Really a good period to travel in the Periyar-area. We stayed in this very cosy little old Kerala-House, which was perfect for the 3 of us. This is definitely a place to distress - no... More

First of all I must commend Tomi, Celine and their two beautiful daughters for making this a family experience. I stayed at their spice farm for a week and had a wonderful time. Tomi spent far more time with me than I had expected, he showed me his plantation, a cardamom processing plant, spectacular views and at the end he... More
