I along with my family stayed over there in may 2013. The boating in Periyar lake was directly accesible from the hotel. The hotel authorities also booked tickets for us. They had a good library. The view from the rooms was also nice. Their swimming pool was big and ideal for swimming. The food was also nice.

Location is fantastic, set in grounds with the monkeys, giant squirrels & other wildlife. The place does justice to the price tag for double rooms. We got Dinner + Breakfast with the rooms deal. The pool is also another attraction and a good way of passing enjoyable time. They get the boat trip scheduled at your convenient time. And the Boat are boarded from a walking distance from the Hotel. Staff was good.

Once I stay and feel the experience of this hotel. One of the excellent 3 star accommodation in Thekkady and really we are getting excellent feedback from our valuable guests also...... We are happy to say this and we are suggesting to our guests.

We had very nice stay in Aranya NIvas... The feel of staying in Jungle amongst the animals and thick forest is something else.
