We stayed two nights here last week on a touring trip organised by Citrus Holidays and we were astounded at how beautiful and spotlessly clean our en-suite accommodation was, the food was excellent, and our hosts, Cyriac and his wife, made us feel so welcome. Our balcony overlooked the spice garden (7 acres), bird song, chipmunks and squirrels completed the... More

We stopped at this home stay while touring Kerala. The owner, Cyriac, of the hotel is actually a spice farmer and the hotel is his home which stands at the side of his 7 acre spice farm. When his children left home, he decided to turn the villa into a hotel. The owners treated visitors as their guests and the... More

Cyriac and his wife, Dolly, made us very welcome. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The food was plentiful, interesting and delicious, Dolly is an excellent cook. Her husband,Cyriac, is a spice farmer and his brother has the neighbouring farm. We had a private tour of his brother's spice garden and were able to buy many varieties in... More

Our host was welcoming, helpful, caring and passionate and knowledgeable about his spice farm which he happily shows you around. The breakfasts and evening meals were tasty and the opportunity to sit with other guests from around the world enjoyable. The house is situated in a very quiet and tranquil setting and the accommodation is of a high standard. Highly... More

Nice room, pretty location. Cyriac and dolly are very helpful. They even dropped us every morning where we wanted To go as it is a bit far from the centre. But 10 min in a tuk tuk and you're there. The spice fields is nice. Cyriac arranged for us to see a kathakali show and that was great.

it was good to stay and the Mr and Mrs owner were good at receiving us. the home made kerala food was good. i had a cookery class from the owner. nice to understand the cooking style. But lost bit privacy from the workers doing some construction work nearby. otherwise it is good to see the spice plantation

Beautifully situated, overlooking the spice hills of Periyar and within the owner's own plantation, yet close enough to a road and ATM for convenience. Quiet and peaceful - a warm welcome and fantastic home-cooked food. Couldn't have been better looked after by Cyriak and his wife. Close to Lake Periyar for wonderful jungle trek and encounters with elephants, much better... More

This home stay is located in the Kerala spice hills and is surrounded by the owners own plantation and is close to Periyar National Park where boat trips on the lake and jungle treks are available. We have done both in the last two years and we prefer the trek as you are so close to the sights and sounds... More
