I and my wife stayed at GK's Riverview Homestay for 2 nights and 3 days in June 2014. It is a best place for nature lovers, those who want to enjoy peaceful and fresh environment of a village. It is in a small village, where backwater canal just runs in front of the GK's home. Just coming out of homestay... More

One sign of how helpful George is - he rang our taxi driver several times on the last bit of the route to help him find his way (the driver was really concerned about where we were going!). He also found all sorts of different information on travelling onwards or activities for other guests. He suggested what we might do... More

George and his family are a fantastic host and really make your stay comfortable and like in a family. He also helps you to plan your trips and gives you hints and clues of where to go. The guest house is very well looked after, the rooms have a lot of privacy and overlook a rice field, with a nice... More

I loved to part of my recent trip to Kerala. George organised the taxi to his place which would have been tricky to find otherwise. The location is the best part however, as you get a real feel for life in a backwater village. I loved the setting, flooded rice paddy and hammocks to laze in. A punted canoe trip... More

George was a fantastic host. His homestay is very relaxing with a fantastic view across a rice field and hammocks to dream your days away. He arranged everything for us...taxi from airport and to our houseboat, canoe trip through the backwaters and recommended a fantastic local ferry trip. This gave us a very close look at local life on the... More

George and his family gave us great hospitality when we stayed there on our recent trip to Kerala. The location is not easy to find but George will sort out transportation and/or directions. It is deep in the backwaters and George provided activities (canoeing, ferry travel and advice) as well as recommending other accommodation. Rooms are basic but have everything required... More

We had a fantastic stay at the homestay. It was my wife's second visit and the homestay was as great as she described. We spent several days relaxing in hammocks and watching the squirrels and the birds over the peaceful rice paddy. The rooms are basic but very clean. The beds were comfortable. Although we appreciated the mosquito nets as... More

Thank you George and family for a lovely stay. Our two nights at this homestay were utter relaxation, complete with a lovely walk around the local villages and a brilliant canoe trip around the local backwaters - the best way to experience the real backwaters! All our meals were delicious, homecooked local meals. Would thoroughly recommend this place for anyone... More

We will long remember our stay with George and Dai because it was a special interaction with a wonderfully hospitable couple, rightly proud of their way of life and full of patience in tending to the whims of their guests and answering questions. This is absolutely the place to stay if you are looking for an authentic experience of the... More

Four of us travelled to George's for just one night. It was such a lovely home away from home an a lovely place to just out your feet up and relax. George was lovely before the trip and was constantly in contact and made sure we were on the right route to his home. We got collected by a tuk-tuk... More
