Our expectations were obviously very high based on the ratings and descriptions by earlier guests. For us, even more than the spotlessly clean place and the outstanding culinary delights, the highlight was the conversations we had with our hosts Neema and Francis.Sharing travel experiences and finding common interests enhanced our stay. The suggestion of including the ferry ride to Ernakulam and... More

From the moment we arrived at The Bungalow , we were over whelmed with Neema's generous and incredibly warm hospitality. We were travelling with our 4 children and my parents and she made us all feel very welcome in her home. She insisted that the children treat her home like their own and even stocked the fridge with treats for... More

We booked this homestay at last minute and it was the most brilliant selection we ever did.....the best ever home and a family we stayed with. Though we stayed at many B&Bs but this concept of homestay was new to us. Neema the backbone of this homestay is wonderful and helpful lady. Ask her anything it will be done at... More

If you are looking for someone who will welcome you into their Kerala home, and provide help and guidance, then look no further. Neema is everything one could hope for, as a "host with the most". She will be up to welcome and farewell you, no matter what time of day or night.....and to come to the rescue if needed.... More

Neema and Francis made me feel very welcome. The room was large and the bed comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the Kerala breakfasts. The Homestay is on Vypee Island, conveniently close to the ferry terminals.

An immaculate house with much history, full of memorabilia from around the world. 2 beautiful air conditioned rooms on the first floor, within the family home. We were warmly welcomed into the family. Prasad has intereting stories to tell and Neema is an excellent cook providing great meals and a cooking lesson if asked. The ferry to Fort Cochin is... We have stayed at many guesthouses around the world and this is one of our favourites. Neema is the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble for her or her husband. The home cooking is to die for and something we will crave for years to come. The house is beautifully restored with love and is kept immaculate.

Having never stayed in a homestay I was a little unsure , however from our arrival Neema and her husband Prasad made us feel part of the family . Our room was really comfortable and the house was a combination of history and antiques and homely comfort . Don't come here if your on a diet as Neema loves nothing... More

I was late getting to this property and these people were genuinely worried for me. They obviously would go out of their way for any guest. They are attentive to the nth degree. The couple have traveled the world themselves together as the husband is a long time captain of oil tankers in all the oceans of the world. This... More
