A beautiful place, well maintained and kept in great shape. The family is great and the best of all is the fantastic breakfast which Neema takes a lot of time to prepare. The location is great, too, just a brief ferry ride away from Fort Kochi. Would come back any time !

Neema, Prasad and their daughter, Olivia, provide an experience that really feels as though one is visiting old family friends. Well organised, very welcoming and friendly - a stay in their home is perfect if you are looking for a more personal, engaging and charming experience. Highly recommended.

Very special time in Kerela and Neema and this homestay made our short trip a very memorable one. Went out of her way to assist and ensured everything was perfectly organised. The homestay exceeded expectations and added a very special touch to our trip staying with a local family for a short time. Will definitely recommend.

This is my first homestay experience and I can only say it was indeed Great. I have stayed in many Hotels & BnB all over the world but nothing can' t beat The Bungalow. Neema takes a lot of effort in running this homestay. She and her family is there always in need. When you are at The Bungalow You... More

My wife and I spent five nights at the Bungalow at the beginning of a ten-day exploration of Cochin and the backwaters of Kerala. We decided to use homestays rather than our usual practise of staying at hotels. This was a good move. With hosts as charming, knowledgable and well-travelled as Neema and Prasad, the conversation at the end of... More

The Bungalow is a real gem. The perfect retreat from the hustle & bustle of Fort Kochi, yet only a short ride by ferry. The beautiful house is full of character & history, built by Neema's great grandfather. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Excellent facilities and Wifi too. Neema, Prasad & Olivia welcome you into their house... More

As the name states the Home stay is truly a Heritage Homestay. Being a history buff I was pleasently surprised to see a lot of History connected to the Bunglow. Prasad and Neema have a good collection of historical artifacts and there are a lot of stories and mystries connected to these artifacts and the Bungalow itself. The stay was... More

Neema: I know you will see this review the moment it arrives on your laptop. Your house is beautiful and you provide a great service; HOWEVER; Some Europeans enjoy an element of privacy; some like to eat their meals alone; none like to be pressured into writing "overly favourable' TRIP ADVISOR reviews . In Jan 2014, almost a year ago the guest wrote a review about his stay titled "The perfect start to our Kerala adventure”. Almost a year later in Dec 2014, about the same stay he writes his second review addressed personally at me and asking (or is it an order) not to respond. With a humble heart I could only... More

This was our first homestay as a family and me, my wife and two year old daughter had a lovely time staying with neema, Prasad and Olivia and we were made to feel most welcome in their home. Neema is a great cook and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner as well as learning some Kerala cookery in a lesson from... More
