What can I say that hasn't already been said before? Neema and her family made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room we had was perfect and so comfortable a d clean. The Keralan breakfasts were so tasty and set us up for the day. The advice Neema gave us regarding local transport and things to... More

Was booked in here by Escape to India as part of a tour of Kerala, on their recommendation. Arriving late at night after the flight from Delhi we had a lovely warm welcome from Neema and family. A lovely house with much history. Nicely situated on Vypeen Island, quiet, and only minutes from the ferry to Fort Kochi. Sadly only... More

We have just had 3 great nights at this ideal Homestay. Neema the wonderful host could not do more to make our stay comfortable and interesting, she is a font of knowledge of everything local. Our room was in traditional style large and comfortable and the breakfasts Indian style and very tasty. It is ideally placed very close to the... More

After a busy dusty time in North India The Bungalow in Kerala was heaven. Spotlessly clean, beautiful food and our family host Neema, who knew exactly our wishes before we asked. Neema was like a protective mother to us. Ron and Gay from Melbourne, Australia.

I only had two nights (one shared with a friend) at The Bungalow. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience - complete with a cooking lesson from Neema. The food was delicious, rooms very comfortable and location a short ferry ride from Fort Cochin. The ferry literally takes 5 minutes and runs frequently - gives a nice quick view of the harbour.... This was our first experience of a homestay and we were very happy! We arrived early in the morning and we were made very welcome. After a rest Neema gave us some suggestions of where to go and what to see. Our breakfast was a traditional Keralan one which was also very good. The room we had was also very... More

We only had two nights at The Bungalow but in that time we had a very warm welcome from Neema and her family and loved the house and its character. Neema totally spoiltv us with delicious curries and went out of her way to ensure we saw the best Kochi has to offer in such a short time. We would... More

I stayed with my mother at Neema's family home and home stay for our first three nights ever in India. We had chosen her as our host because of the great reviews in the past and as we wanted a more local, authentic experience. We were not disappointed! Neema is an excellent hostess. Nothing seems too much for her and... More

We had booked to stay with Neema for 3 nights but unfortunately our plans changed and we had to move on after one night. We were sad to leave this welcoming and comfortable home stay. The passion, enthusiasm and friendly hospitality of Neema and her family was a pleasure to experience, along with Neema 's excellent meals. This warm hospitality... More

We planned a busy three week holiday in Kerala, starting and finishing in Ft Kochi. We chose the Bungalow as our starting point after good TA reviews and were delighted that we did. The beautiful homestead is located just across the water from Ft Kochi: a two minute walk and then five minutes on the ferry and you are right... More
