We stayed in a ground floor room that overlooks the garden. It had a traditional colonial feel - was very clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was nice, not the best in Kerala, but expensive. The "infinity" pool sits in the garden and is overhung by trees, making it a bit dirty. There also seemed... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It is located near the Chinese fishing nets by the harbour but seemed an oasis of calm. We were given an upgrade to the Palace Suite which was a huge room with two balconies - one indoors and one out. It was charmingly decorated, well air-conditioned with a good bathroom. We found... The Old Harbour Hotel is a wonderful mix of old antiquities... the smell of Lemon grass greets you as you step into this magical hotel steeped in memories of time gone by... As you walk through the white plaster archways to be greeted by Edgar and his wonderful team of staff.. the aroma of fresh flowers... the lustre of old... More

We did not actually get to stay at Old Harbour Hotel (it was our first choice but was fully booked for one of our nights) so we would recommend booking early. However, we spent time there on three separate occasions (one afternoon for drinks, one evening for dinner and one morning for breakfast) We first arrived one hot afternoon for... More

My first impression: wow! This ist a very special place. Nice fragrant in every room and all lovingly decorated (but not too much). My room was tastefully furnished (comfortable bed) and the bathroom was beautyfull (modern) und very clean. The pool is clean and spacious and the surrounding garden is very nice. The staff is outstanding friendly and caring. Service... More

We had a lovely stay at Old Harbour - as the others say it has lots of ambience, great staff and a beautiful courtyard/garden area. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and minimally but very nicely furnished in keeping with a hertiage property. The staff are great too and very helpful. We did not eat there apart from breakfast which... More

I cannot recomend this hotel highly enough. We arrived very early -well before 10am - and they rushed to get the room ready for us while we sat in the garden. The hotel has character and the central courtyard / garden very pretty and lush with a lovely pool. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean with an outdoor... More

Had a really great stay here this month. It was very humid in Fort Cochin and the Old Harbour was a sanctuary and oasis to escape into. The pool was great and looking back at the hotel, it was truly a treat. The staff were brilliant - particularly Jude who was very helpful to us throughout. I only wish we... More
