we had a garden cottage and it was charming. Outdoor bathroom. The place is well managed and immaculate. Breakfast was nice and the ambience in the evening is again charming. So glad we chose this property. Brunton Boatyard is nice but lifeless and the Old Courtyard is definately a renovation project waiting to be started. The Old Harbour was a... more

Old Harbour was as charming and as beautiful/peaceful as everyone else has written. My wife and I were looking for a special introduction for our two children to India in a place that would be children friendly, close to interesting places and overall give us both comfort but still a glimpse of Kochi. We were not disappointed. Old Harbour is... more

Stayed at the Old Harbour twice during our trip, once in a normal room and once in a garden cottage. The hotel is beautifully restored/converted from two old houses and seems to be almost unique in this area of Fort Cochin for having reasonable sized gardens with a pool - the gardens are well kept and very pretty. The hotel... more

The Old Harbour Hotel is just perfect! We stayed there for two nights (one night in a regular room and one night in a suite) and both nights we were very happy. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, peaceful and have a very comfortable bed and shower. There is no TV, but who needs a television when on holiday anyway...... more

On arrival we received a very warm welcome in a the cool and very attractive reception area. Our room was on the first floor above the little courtyard... more

From the coconut on arrival to the beautiful infinity pool and decor, we found our stay pretty much faultless. The staff were really friendly & only to pleased to help & the rooms were beautiful & smelt delicious! I had a massage... more

The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and clean with good en-suite facilities. The dining room however has the strange feeling of being in the middle of reception if you cannot, or do not wish, to eat outside in the garden. Expect any meal to be a long-drawn out affair. The interval between courses is about half an hour, and getting the... more

As independent travellers we have visited most regions in the world and rely on word of mouth from friends and Traveladvisor to book our first boutique hotel in the foreign country for a few days and to determine likely spots to travel to and for accomodation. I received a phone call back immediately from Edgar the owner of Old Harbour... more
