The pool is lovely, not as big as the Marriott next door but more luxurious. Restaurants are great. Overall I would say this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed more

We travelled round South India with our kids (12, 10) at Easter. This hotel was our favourite (out of lots). The rooms are amazing, the hotel has a real charm to it and is very colonial in style. Service is discreet but friendly. Although it has the feel of a boutique hotel kids are made very welcome and not a... more

I don't need to say much about this hotel, except that it is - without question - the best place we've ever stayed. The room, the food, the staff, the pool, the relaxed atmosphere - everything was exceptional. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel special - our bags were whisked to our room with the minimum... more

This is a lovely place in a great setting near the chinese fishing nets of Fort Cochin. The staff were absolutely charming (exception - Edgar the owner, despite being there, never came to say hello which was odd). We had two rooms, one on the ground floor which was ok and one on the first floor (peter celli room) which... more

A wonderful haven of tranquility, well decorated and furnished rooms, great service. Just one tip, do NOT sunbath in the grounds without mossie repealant, in 30 mins i was eaten alive, apparently Kochi is renowned for it. That said i can not fault this hotel, and for me that's saying alot. more

We've been visiting India for decades (gasp) and spent time in many splendid - and not so splendid places , but the Old Habour Hotel is certainly right up there with the best . Rooms - excellent , sizeable , well equipped ,good showers , comfortable . Cleanliness - first class , there always seemed to be someone mopping or... more

This is a gem of a place.... Welcoming staff; well managed; great rooms; good food; clean; comfortable; central; great pool... Having considered and later visited Malabar House, we would choose Old Harbour Hotel. They are waiting an alcohol license which will make it even better. Even when fully booked it felt quite, relaxed and spacious. more

This place is amazing. Friendly staff, fantastic food, great garden, pool and surroundings. This was our first stop in India and a great surprise. We stayed on a recommendation from a friend and we weren't dissapointed. The staff at the Old Harbour could not do enough for us yet at the same time were not intrusive. Edgar was so efficient... more

We were torn about where to stay in Kochi. A colleague told us we HAD to stay in Malabar House, but it seemed very expensive and I really liked the look of the Old Harbour, so we decided to spend two nights in the Old Harbour and then the last night in Malabar House. As soon as we arrived at... more
