Our first stop in Cochin. The hotel is lovely, an old Colonial bungalow (gotta love the empire) with a wonderful garden compound, and a swimming pool, which we got to use! It's clean, and we had a very interesting open air shower which we shared with a little frog on the first night and a milipede on the second. The... More

From the moment we stepped in to the Old Harbour Hotel, we felt so welcomed and relaxed. The setting is stunning - a wonderful blend of colonial history, tropical flora and decorated with a mixture of antique and modern flair. The staff could not have been more helpful and gave great advice and ensured we felt at home as well... More

We had a wonderful stay here! It took a while to get through rush hour traffic from the airport but it was well worth the wait. The staff were extremely friendly, and our room was great. The hotel has an excellent menu, with a restaurant that looks into a garden. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the Old Harbour for three nights as our first stop on a two-week trip around South India. The hotel had been recommended by friends and we had high expectations. We were not at all disappointed- this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. If you're looking for something standard with a... More

This hotel truly lived up to expectations. All off the staff were very helpful and could do more for us. The rooms were great. Very Indian to look at with Jasmine flowers on our bed when we arrived. The bathrooms exceeded our expectations with a great wet room shower and all the bathroom products you would expect from the very... More

Expensive but amazing! Very western style in in amenities and the staff: perfect English and hospitality. You wont find any coackraoches or messed up food orders here. The pool is also the best in Cochin ( I live here so have checked all of them out,....literally). Its huge and surrounded by lush greens. the food looks good too although I... More

Absolutely great place to be. Not only hotel rooms (my favorite is the one located outside next to swimming pool with outdoor shower!) are excellent, clean, beautify furnished but restaurant, service and atmosphere is something you can not forget.

Excellent hotel in fort Cochin. We stayed only one night, but would have definitely could have stayed for 2-3. Pool looked great (didn't get a chance to swim). Lovely garden setting. Service was excellent from the moment we walked in until we left. We had an early flight and they packed breakfast for us. Our garden view room had old... More

Excellent service, beautiful accommodation. Rooms were immaculately clean and nothing too much trouble. Best dosa masala breakfast. Had a great stay. Old harbour also organised us a fantastic driver called Josey who went over and above to answer our endless questions and to get us to where we wanted to go, stress free.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of ancient Fort Cochin, Kerala, a place that exudes history and culture, is the 'Old Harbour Hotel'. A 300 year- old building that has for long been a heritage monument of this town, now reopened as a boutique hotel. Built in the Dutch style of architecture with hints of Portuguese influences, it was the first hotel of old Cochin. Later it remained a residential home to employees of English Tea broking firms until it was left unused for a period of time. ... more   less
