We spent two nights at Koder House at the start of tour of Kerala at the beginning of November - what a fantastic way to start our holiday. Koder House is a very unique property, tastefully restored. We received a friendly welcome and were led to our massive junior suite consisting of a huge bedroom with two four-poster beds, a... more

We arrived and were shown to a room where the A/C was broken but they fixed it and offered to move us to a new room. The service was good. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. Brekafast was very generous and also very very good - we had 3 or 4 dishes off... more

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights before moving on to Coonoor. We were met like royality from the airport taken to the hotel. The rooms were amazing, I say rooms as our suite had four, with jacuzzi, dressing room, dining room and a huge bedroom, all with character in first class condition. The hotel facilities were excellent... more

Cochin's Fort area is an emerging tourism precint and Koder House is a very comfortable and relaxed boutique hotel with traditional rooms and lounges. If you are after a 4 star business hotel, go to a tower hotel somewhare. But Koder is a tranquil spot in a busy city, close enough to Jettown and other attractions. more

My daughter & I stumbled upon this hotel while visiting Fort Cochin, when we returned after touring Kerala we booked our last 2 nights in India at this delightful hotel. A former grand jewish house this small boutique hotel ( 6 rooms only) was the most delightful place to stay & we will always remember the wonderful friendly service we... more

Koder House is a characterful old mansion with huge rooms and antique pieces everywhere. Still, the bathrooms should be renovated and perhaps it is a bit overpriced. We liked the location, the view from the rooms and the relaxed atmosphere. There is a little library under the roof with a cosy space for reading and you can use internet for... more

We stayed 10 days in Koder house and found it perfect. The hotel is quiet, but with extremely attentive and friendly staff. The suites are huge; ours was on the top floor, the bedroom was large with high wooden ceiling, original, solid wood furniture and small balcony overlooking the park. Next is a 'dressing room' with wardrobe, clothes hanging space,... more

My husband and I spent our first few days in Kerela in this hotel. It is simple but beautiful . We had a room on the front of the hotel overlooking a park - not you green English park but then this is India! The staff were unobtrusively attentive and the food was excellent. Another advantage is that the hotel... more

We stayed here for 3 nights during the middle of a two and half week visit around India, and cannot fault it at all. From the moment we checked in we were made very welcome, the room was huge and very comfortable, with a separate dressing room and bathroom. The restaurant was faultless, very good food with exceptional service. Also... more

We booked Koder house as it was described as "boutique" with good amenities. Granted, the (deluxe) rooms were of a bizarrely large (and underfurnished) size but the hotel lacked the small touches you would expect for the price. The bathroom was, at best, grubby. There was a lack of amenities you would expect at this inflated "boutique" price. The restaurant... more
