The location on the MG Road made us slightly apprehensive but we needn't have worried - double glazing made sure we heard nothing. The rooms were large and bathroom clean and worked! At first a bit apprehensive when we arrived, once settled in we were very relaxed in a large old style bedroom with a lovely bathroom on suite. Staff were exellent and always with a smile. This Hotel was the cheapest on our trip, still the quality (cleaniness, service) was good. We came there without any reservation and we got a room within 10 minutes. The Hotel itself is renovated resently from the outside and has some old and charming athmosphere from the inside. A soon make-over from inside would be good. more
